No, LARD didn't get nerfed. Willow got a slight buff that Redwood didn't get: proficiency can be above your level so you can cope with lower proficiency of Willow. But LARD is still as strong as it used to be. Market has changed. Only the best-of-the-best gear gets extremely high bids. Just-pretty-good-gear is sold for 10% of the price it would have gotten last year. Why? Shortage of rich lower level players? Lower income for lower level players? Or maybe the 'script breaking day' update 0.85 broke some scripts and chased away a specific group of lower level high-income players?

lololo said it's good. I would like to try Niten and FRD style myself, but I like to keep my proficiencies exactly equal due to some weird mental problem. Right now my DW and Light Armor proficiencies are exactly equal, and my 1H and Heavy Armor proficiencies are exactly equal.

Well actually it's useful when you don't have OFC and you have so much speed on your shade setup that you can kill 2-3 monsters while the stun effect lasts.
I did use FRD as soon as I unlocked it because I did not have OFC at that time, but you could very well use depr spells instead.

And now to what I've accomplished:

That's right. FRD is good for 2h/niten, but you need to have a decent set

Strangest thing: I keep leveling up!? Now I'm already 498 level!

Well, the cool thing is that I'm working on a lv 500 dark mage set, I have a staff, robe, pants and shoes ready, IW'd and waiting. 2 weeks, I think, then it's Dark Time!

What also happened. So, I was merrily freezing balls off of all kinds of monsters, round after round, as I wielded destruction in a PFUDORfest, limbs flying all around, blood everywhere, you know, happy days... Then suddenly - out of mana potions! (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) So I did the 2nd half on Mana elixir and last elixirs. And what do you know? Works too!

I currently have 4596 attack damage with DW and 4566 attack damage with 1H. No matter your level, DW is faster on the first page of arenas, and the final three first two SG arenas. 1H is probably faster and safer on the rest of the arenas and item world.

Cleared for the 2nd time, this time with dual wield. I overestimated my dual wield, it's not better than 1H on pfudor DwD yet. Clear time was comparable but I struggled to survive at the end and chugged spirit potions.
