You basically upgraded what you should have not upgraded, and did not upgrade what you should have (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

Slaughter pieces give way more adb than non slaughter, so they should be upgraded first.
Non-slaughter should be kept unforged or forged lv 5 until you get better (adb 54 on that leggings are a waste, especially when the armor, with more adb, is forged to 13).
The peerless savage helmet of balance could be an exception though. Forge that crit chance to 25, you've used already the actuators (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ph34r.gif)

And the rapier is too much ahead the rest of the gear.

As sapo and someone else pointed out, it may seem cheaper to go for that avoiding actuators, but it's actually not.
Rapier lv 80/100 requires a whole lot on the armors too. Once you get over lv 50 or 60 adb, you get very little.
You have to think about the HP, parry, mitigations and crit that armor give you. They're worth the actuator.

But I'd wait to get 5 armors of slaughter before that.

I didn't upgrade the helmet to 25 crit cuz I didn't have the isaacs. Feel free to donate some though (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I chose to not-forge the armour because I am actively seeking to replace it... with a slaughter.
Same with my gauntlets.

My boots will actually be a drop in adb, when I change them (from mag slaughter to leg protection) but I'm just sick of looking at mag gear.

I upgraded the peerless legs mainly because I figure I wont be replacing them for a long while yet.
Also, I get 90% back on salvage value, so the permanent cost of upgrading the legs is only like, 2m, max.

Besides, he didn't say "those who have no GS are a bunch of qwertyuiop", he just said that IF they upgrade a huge number of monsters, without stopping first to calculate the cost of it and the possibility of break-even if they instead buy a GS with part of those credits, THEN they are a bunch of qwertyuiop.
