I replied as a joke but now I'm really interested in a no-weapon or no-shield or even no-both run. Heck, anyone want to do a naked run? No equipment whatsoever.

I did manage to win against PFUDOR Invisible Pink Unicorn the other day, with a Crude Rapier and no abilities at all.
I suppose that going naked is possible, if you've got abilities. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

I did 6 potency tiers when I was doing IW of my rapier without any main hand weapon.
(Forgot to equipment any main hand. And I didn't realized it because I read somewhere that difficulty of IW is more and it was my first time doing IW)

Gameplay looked painfully slow and my attacks pathetic .

Anyone tried naked run ?

Now I recall that I too did naked run, but died pretty fast. I was changing set/personas - something like that and forgot to check my equipment. It was, well, when Persona-system was introduced.

Please excuse me. i was not very clear earlier.
private IP will always be with every system. Just because you don't have public IP does not mean you can't do H@H , you can.Motive to make your system accessible by EH.

It's not bad news yet.
because in private IP case you can forward a port and make an exception in your firewall. I am not just saying local firewall of your Computer(which is easy). But you also need to have any control over the firewall between the Internet and your computer ,If there is one.
IN simple language.
If 116.1xx.xxx is IP of your router. then there is solution. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) (It is in most of the case)

But if 116.1xx.xxx is IP of your ISP then (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) (you have to talk to them to either port forward or give you public ip) (Because in this case they are routing everything from there router and treating there customer as LAN users . SO here this router also needs to be configured .and they might have a firewall also which blocks outside access) (It happens in few unfortunate cases)(it was my case)

that's called dynamic IP.

As per my experience I think your ISP belongs to first category.
In case of 1st IP are not static.

Because whenever ISP does second category , they does it for cost cutting and reducing their functioning costs.
In most of cases of second case . public IP is fixed.
Like in my case my public IP is same since years.

And The dynamic IP you are getting is not random.
Generally Every ISP assigns IP in range to their user bases unless you have requested for private IP.
So it's not a issue.

I don't think I have a dynamic IP

The thing is I setup my router with static IP and when I check IP address online my IP address doesn't change
but when I check with any online port forward site they display different IP every time i log in

Btw are there any software to do these port forwarding stuffs ?

Well I found out you can't port forward with a dynamic IP since it changes every time you log in. The only way to run H@H is to have a static IP which it seems I don't have. Already paying alot for the net so I don't have money to buy another private static ip just to run H@H.

if you're serious about doing this, one option may be to rent a server somewhere. i'm pretty sure i saw a list of sites to check in help section.
otherwise, uh... better to wait for some H@H sage. or go asking Kei - who should go by the name Tsugumi Komachi these days. or atomicpuppy.

Oh well, I got summoned here for some reason. Let's start from the beginning.

That's just wrong. You are looking at the wrong side of the router. A server will work on any IP, as long as the requests get to it. DHCP leases for routers are actually pretty long, a lease is quite computationally expensive for a DHCP server to perform so the periods given are often big (several days for example).

That said, the IPs from which your last couple of posts have been made are strikingly different. Which makes me suspect that you are not getting a public IP in your lease at all. Basically Alliance Broadband is screwing you (and your neighbours) over by placing a set of routers with several exit points and routing N households over X exit points, where N >> X. That is a guess. But based on you post history I strongly believe that you are behind a double NAT alright (once from Alliance and one in your router, the later being alright).
