not explicitly meant to you, but could we please cut it out with this "go mage" crap? certain people prefer to play as melee. and certain people prefer to play as mage. rarely these two worlds meet.

and no, maging isn't a panacea. maging needs a certain way to do things and a certain availabilty of funds. regardless this is a good or a bad thing, not all people can maging proficiently.

It is so true. =)
But on other hand - creating a mage build it is like the very last thing you can accomplish in the game. Like what the point to play it anyway? Level 350+ player of any build on PFUDOR can get so much money in a single day that can download any galleries he need.
Creating a mage is like an answer on a question "why the hell I am still playing that game?".

as far as I can tell.... for people who use monsterbation and have unlimited funds, mage is categorically better for end game.

The only reason to go 1h or any other set is:

1) Low level
2) Low funds
3) No monsterbation

ooooh this reminds me. I just splurged 5m on forge mats to upgrade my gears. I'm still waiting on a buy for some fire eater, wind walker, and spirit ward bindings, but they're incidentals. My new stats are:

Completed PFUDOR DWD for like the 20th time in 3 weeks.

Was the drop quality nerfed in the last couple of patches for arena clears? I remember getting a Legendary every 5 or 6-ish PFUDOR DWD runs, and now I haven't gotten a single one since I picked this up again in the last three weeks or so.
