Yeah, but I had to use a health elixir AND a mana elixir, which makes it unprofitable. Not even Scroll of Protection was enough. I might have to slot Scroll of Shadows. I survived because three well known baddies were bunched up together and all three got hit with my first sleep spell. Else I woulda got boned.
Since i'm close to you as lv. and i definitely have worse equip than you but i do PF RE let's compare. If i'm not mistaken you also use 1H.
I start Health Draught and mana draught. No point saving them for reset of turns or anything. Use right away.
Protect -> Haste -> Regen -> Spirit shield - Spark of Life.
IF and only if i proc Channeling AND i have safe health (more than 3/4) then i use it for Heartseaker.
My mana IS low at this point, but i have enough for some normal heals.
I have "scroll of absorption" set up. I know that it's not good, but protect i'll cast myself anyway and this MAY (as it may not) save you from damage, specially vs 8-10 monsters. I save the usage of it for when i'll need to reset a turn for heal (powered up by abilities heal has 2 turns cdr. Items usage DOES count on those).
Before i would cast Shadow Veil, but i found out that it's better not to, since if you are using Heavy armor it only gives you a very small amount of evade chance. Monsters DO miss you with it on, but i found out by trial and error that not using it was better, hoping on the counterattacks early on, since the stun saves for more.
Early on (first few turns) monsters often start with low mana/spirit so even if several DO cast, they also attack you normally a lot, hence the possibility for you to parry them and counterattack them is high.
Start attacking the monster with less health.
KEEP AN EYE ON THEIR MANA/SPIRIT.
When you get too many enemies against you, the first thing to keep in mind is of course to reduce the number of enemies. But always keep an eye on who has full mana/spirit or is about to fill it.
Use your skills on them to stop them from using big moves onto you.
Weaken and similar are just a waste of mana in a "canbeshorttermed battle" where a bunch of monsters want to feast on you right away.
Conserve mana when you can. Don't risk when you can not.
If you are juuuuuuuuuuuuuust above the safety zone of your HP, you can use heal all right, but i personally use "defend". Recovers a little bit of HP for only 10 OP and let's you realize how the enemies will move in a risky turn, while you save mana. Don't overabuse defend, but don't forget it.
Use your mana 1st. Save your healing potions as much as you can. You can reset the turns for cure by using a scroll or a mana potion (i almost always have to use a mana potion, but most of the times only that).
Full cure ONLY for the case you died and spark of life brought you back.
By activating draughts early on, they will come back soon enough so you can reuse them again for turn resets for cure if needed.
There happens to find the RE where everyone goes crazy on you right away. Elixirs might need to be used sometimes. But still better them than you (IMG:[

So... Summing it up.
Keep an eye on what monster is setting for a big attack (full spirit/mana) and go stun/bleed on it. Focus on reducing the enemy numbers. Manage your mana and turns well.
...
Yes, i know i type a lot (IMG:[
