My staff prof is now higher then my level (466.215 v 466).
It was slightly above 450 when 0.86 went live, I believe I was lv 463 at that time.
My main profs are at 473.776 for comparison.

I suppose I was very much at the perfect level for the proficiency update when it went live. I've been keeping up with deprecating and divine proficiencies by tossing out occasional spells during arenas and REs, so they're now both at 450 (5 levels above). And my main proficiencies (1H + heavy) are both at 465 (20 levels above).

My assimilator is 10 too, maxed before the update. So that can't be why you profs are so much higher.
The extremeness of the level curve seems a more likely explanation.

Just realized that using Silence while playing PFUDOR IW 1H really helps a lot. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mellow.gif)

you got that right. i also find that Weaken is very useful in taking on tougher challenges, its fast cast time makes it very safe to use

My typical IW round now is Silence 2, Sleep 7, wipe all those who are not debuffed, then kill all those who are asleep and finish off what's left of those who are silenced. OC builds slower like that, but at least it takes much, much less healing and much less spirit consumption.

personally i'd do. even if you want to throw a bit of overpower on the rapier, you're wasting too many potencies on the club

And assuming you make use of it every day, it pays for itself in less than 3 months. After that, it basically becomes "+1 free Energy Drink per day" (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif)

But it is not just about the ED. It is about been able to play more arenas. So to my perspective it pays off even faster. Invest one ED per day isnt so hard after a certain level of Archaeologist training. But spend two every day is a whole other story. So i would say that it is possible that the perk allready pays off after the first month.

Got 3 bosses in a single IW run.

EDIT:
Discovered that Penetrated Armor may not be as powerful as everyone thinks. I will perform tests as soon as I can to confirm my first investigation.

I hit 275 this weekend, which was my goal. I know it's going to slow down heavily sometime soon, but hopefully I'll be 300 by this time next week!
