Yeah. I guess it's a small consolation that at least it was a max PL monster (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Unlocked innate potential: Swift Strike Level 2 Unlocked innate potential: Swift Strike Level 1 The equipment's potential has increased by 1060 points! Way to optimize amnesia shards... I guess... (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

50 million credits. Guess I should start spending some.
Ever since HV 0.85, I've been thinking of buying enough hath to get Dæmon Duality just to compensate for the longer battles. I used to be able to stab my way through 10-14 rounds per minute on Normal with a modern computer. Now, I'm lucky to get through 7 in the same time.
The only upsides to the new system have been that the antique PC I'm using gets the same speed as newer computers and monsters on PFUDOR no longer have so much health. Otherwise, it's a pain just to use 24 stamina every day.

Agreed. 100% The long term benefits say it should be the first big credit improvement.

But after that. You just pile up M after M. See people nearly 100 Lvl under you with nearly the same ADB. Wait for the rapier you want and loose your motivation for just everything. *sigh* (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

What to do? It depends. What is your fight style? 1H, 2H, DW, Niten, Mage? What is your current equipment? Which Hath Perks do you already own? What is your daily game routine? And at what level of difficulty?

Well, did another Pfest today and didn't die. Only 3 new scanned monsters, though. Was about 40 monsters a week ago. Looks like nearly all high PL ones have been scanned by now. Oh, and I hit level 444 today (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif)

@ Scremaz, RoadShoe:
I think we have different long-term goals in mind. You two seem to want me to optimize my character.
My goal is to keep my stamina low so I can take breaks from HV without wasting points. You've seen how EDs sell for 100k each; one stamina point is worth 10k unless you have the perk, which cuts it down to 5k/point for the first one of the day.
If my stamina rises above 80, the most efficient way to spend the points is to fight the longest Arena battles at the highest difficulty. If it hits the max, waiting any longer is a complete waste of potential. Even by fighting on Normal, I can salvage a bit of creds and items.
Also, if I'm to get a proxy to donate enough real money for a gold star, I'd first have to find someone willing to part with $100. If they have that kind of money to spend on hentai and an RPG, they most likely already have at least one of their own if they're following basic human nature of taking care of themselves first.
@ Basara Nekki: This isn't Ask the Experts, so I thought you were asking me to make a private self-assessment. In case you weren't…
Style: 1H, Heavy.
Equipment: Legendary rapier, Legendary buckler, Legendary plate armor. Currently in a Grindfest, so linking is not possible.
Hath Perks: Postage Paid Vigorous Vitality Enigma Energizer Innate Arcana IV (and I, II, III)
Routine: 1) Arenas from First Blood through A Rolling Stone on PFUDOR, then Fresh Meat through Endgame on Normal.
2) The Trio and the Tree either on Normal or IWBTH, depending on how fast HV is loading that day. This one is mandatory because of the Sapling at the end.
3) Grindfests on PFUDOR, lasting until my restoratives can no longer keep me in the fight.
4) If I have time, Grindfests on Normal to collect low-grade equipment for scrap materials and Spirit Draughts to keep my Spirit Shield up during PFUDOR battles.

Even though it was not the appropriate area, I asked to follow the matter already started. Also, with this information I asked, more people can give their opinion/help. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/happy.gif) Well, as you already said Gold Star is not something urgent, in its place I would start looking for better equipment. Look for a good Force Shield and 5 Power Slaughter in the upcoming auctions. And since you've already passed level 400, doing soulfuse will not be a problem. Then you can invest a little in upgrades. As an example, I would suggest you take a look at the links posted by End Of All Hope in his signature. This will already be more than enough to do anything on the PFUDOR difficulty. And probably faster than the time you spend in your current routine. I also wore a Plate + Buckler set (but with Shortsword of Slaughter) to almost level 350. Between 350 and 400 I used an improvised set of Power (Balance + Protection + Warding), and only went to the current equipment after 400 (I had bought a lot of equipment with level 500 (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif) ). As I changed equipment and made some upgrades, my times were lowering. And the difference between Plate and Power is huge. For you to have an idea, the first time I played the last arena (150 rounds)(PFUDOR), using Plate, it took more than 2 hours to finish (and last time 1h32min)(HV 0.84). Using Power were 1h15min the first time and 50min last (HV 0.84). With recent changes (HV 0.85), my time has come down to 35 minutes (this is when the internet is good (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) ), using Power (I have never done this using Plate in the current version). About Hath Perks I can not say much, because I only have 3 (Postage Paid, Tokenizer I and II). But I think Dæmon Duality should be the best investment after you change your equipment.
