Well, OP should be the first thing to pop up, or the last one you want to see.
You already know that (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I think the best combos for the Katana are 4/5 OP + 5/4 overall of Butcher+Fatality.
Basically unlock all three and hope OP goes 4 or 5.
Or unlock OP and one of the two and hope nothing else besides the other between B and F pops up, and OP ends 4 at least in case something good pops out later (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

I got lucky with my katana (mag though but whatever (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ), with O4+B2F3.
I could try upgrading with a leg, but I don't want to try feeling lucky another time.
Not before trying to get a good combo on the soulfused club (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Well, my current dw set has op6, and it still rocks quite a bit. Some occasional parry/evades, but not so many. Personally i'd aim for b+f=7, o2

Don't exaggerate with swift. As long as you reach enough speed to recharge OC in time to FRD (around 130, 13 actions for 10 turns) you don't need any more.

btw, with my DW set i have 30% speed bonus already, and no swift potency. pretty sure that with a leg katana you can reach 31 or so, so yep... quite useless. also, there's Haste - which means another boost.

Let me just say that the Nyten theory looked a lot better on paper compared to what it did during practical use (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)
But hey. They both did the job at the end (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
Plus nyten does not even need a full agile set to accompany it.
