I don't think many are interested in 2H, and even then Longsword is probably the least useful (Estoc + FUS RO DAH, Mace and Niten are all pretty viable, 2H with Longsword is just an inferior Estoc).

And I don't agree, Longswords are the best when it comes to clean monsters in Hard at lightning speed.
One does not simply need penetrated armor for that.

Given how nerfed Hard is (also at high levels monsters on Hard still have a lot of HPs since the difference between Hard and PFUDOR is less than 2X now, making PA still good even at low difficulties) I really doubt anyone would want to invest in it.

I'm already killing monsters with 3-4 hits with my Mag Longsword, clearing the 1st SG arena with it aswell, so if I could be even faster, I wouldn't hesistate investing in it.

The Longsword is the 2H with the highest raw damage output, it benefits the most from being Ethereal (due to having the highest burden+interference), it's more accurate than an estoc. Enough reasons to be wanting a Peerless Ethereal Longsword IMHO.
Not to mention that you do can inflict penetrated armor with a longsword, thanks to Rending Blow.

2H may not be as quick as mage at a very high level, but it's not trash either.

iirc I used to play using an estoc and it served me well to clear normal-to-nightmare mobs around level 270-320 I think faster than 1H but on the other hand 1H gave me good survivality and the option to play at higher difficulties, eventually I dropped the 2H style, don't know how well 2H is now with the mobs having too much HP

Well, with your Savage Shadowdancer set the actual damage is probably higher than mine at least. My crit chance is 54.1% and crit damage +70% (+76% with Rapier and Wakizashi), your crit stats should be higher than that.

The 10% damage bonus from Godslayer is far better than Fus Ro Dah, that's why most people don't bother using the Dovahkiin title.
