well, my experiments with VMs:
- Alcohol on VM made Windows crash
- CloneCD on VM saw only data DVDs. or better, it saw *everything* as data DVD
- i may have tried cdrwin or blindwrite, but wasn't in the mood.

guess if you have to copy a CD, you'd better resign yourself to dirt your main OS a bit. at least if you're using virtualbox, that is.

duh... 600 millions... i never saw so many millions, not even today that i had cumulated my own finances with the hovering script rewards for a brief while (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif)

either way, i'm still grasping the base of this as well. but since prof is so high, if i had to go on probably i'll start throwing in a prof piece. then i should work on staff prof (not that i have so much time to play these days...). then uh, maybe i'll change staff. a base hallowed oak of focus is waiting for me. i'll lose quite a lot of MDB if compared with my current A4 katalox of destruction but uh... guess that to play non-Imperil SGs at medium difficulty a decent CR is needed... hopefully Holy will be so OP that sinking a few MDB shoildn't matter too much (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)
of course, i expect that when i'll be ready with all this 2H Longsword will become the mainstream style and mage will be nerfed so bad that you'll see a lot of ragequits (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

It's doable to sustain the mana consumption as holy/dark mage. Staff prof has nothing to deal with it. All you need is being really focused on mana potion's availability and not to be afraid to use a few elixirs. That is, if you don't want to lose a few rounds regularly to arcane blow the monsters to refill your mana.
An absurdly high holy prof helps reducing the cost aswell, I can confirm this. But unfortunately it's not written anywhere on the wiki how much prof we need to reach to obtain the cap of 25% reduction in the spell cost. At least I'm pretty sure that having only one gear is far from being enough.

Okay this 0.85 thing is no big problem anymore. My Cool Magic Dude is killing them with frost again. Now what? Better gear? Other build? I was secretly playing with the thought of contemplating to maybe make several elemental builds to use on the specific day. But the effect is too small for my build... Yesterday, cool day, I did 2 PFfest - 1st died at round 600 or so. 2nd I didn't die at all.

What to do then? Quit maybe? Nah... I want to become level 500 first. But that takes ages! What to do in the mean time? Maybe changing one radiant for a charged? Just to see the effect? That would be a waste of all the credits that I spent on the radiants.

Maybe level-up some monsters. I've been doing that lately anyway. I do have some well-named monsters that deserve to be seen.

Still..... bored.
