Exquisite gear is usually so weak and easy to replace that soulfusing it is waste of fragments.

Because it is that common to get usable Mag and Leg drogs with level 183, it just doenst make sense at all to soulfuse something else. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sleep.gif)

I am now for the first time ever equiped with a full Leg set. And this with Lvl 439. A short moment of joy for at least half of a week feeling shit poor. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/anime_cry.gif)

i'm happy enough to have almost eliminated exquisites from all of my sets, the last one being an exquisite power armour of slaughter

Level 183 or not, soulfusing exquisite gear is waste. It really doesn't take that long to replace exquisite with another exquisite+ item just by using bazaar. If soulfusing seems too tempting, searching shops and checking auctions for 250-300 mag-leg items is way better choice.

I may have misunderstood what you tried to say, but I just don't think spending 500+ fragments on exquisite piece is worth it. Especially if it is just a piece of armor.

I would never suggest the use of bazaar for buying equpment. Also not everyone what allways replace the whole equipment, just because they had outlevel it.

Sir Coding-Hero: soon you will be able to go full mage with the profits from Monsterbation! You will laugh at the times - hah - that you ever considered using Magnificents. I can highly recommend Cold Mage, works great and cheaper than Holy.

Dunno, soulfusing same level gear seems pointless unless it is to get double xp from item world because the stats remain pretty much the same, and outdated gear is usually pretty easy to replace. for now my dark mage persona is good enough to do PF REs and arenas and i'm currently more interested in seeing how far i can take a mace into PFfest, but sure, i'll keep an eye on auctions for some mage gear. or spend most of my reward on Æsahættr, that seems like a worthwhile investment

The same is true for eqipment with a lower level. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) BTW what would you suggest to do with soulfragments when they are piling up and you dont have the money and the level to buy stuff at auctions? Sell them for 1 credit? Just keep them piling up? I mean i dont even need a week to get 250 soul fragments. So yeah, that would really a great waste to soulfuse exq equipment. it's far from impressive and damage output is laughable compared to a set that requires more than the 0 credits i've spent on it, but my defences are sufficient and that's what's most important to me. and i keep a plate set in storage in case i ever feel like heavy mageing again
