Aw, snap. My dep prof is 1.21. The wiki says I need level 120 and dep prof of 40, am I interpreting that right? How do you have perm spirit shield? Crazy uber gear? Argh. I bet seeing that in cloth form is gonna take a while and a lot of luck?

At low levels, keeping Weaken on the RoB opponent will at least protect you from crits. I didn't need Silence for it until the tougher ones.

New item on my wish list: low-grade metals. I'm salvaging shields, weapons and heavy armor, to no avail. I need just one more to upgrade my sword.

Edit: Oh, snap, another achievement. I just found "Shadow Veil" in my combat spells list. Less need for the actual scroll now, especially in Grindfest. I just plowed through a random encounter 7-mob battle like a bullet train without scrolls. How long will this last?

Heck yes, I put on my big boy panties and went charging into the Ring of Blood with 2 tokens to hit Bunneh and Mikuru Asahina. And I got cut and paste working in there, too.

I slapped on my Scrolls of Protection, Swiftness and Shadows, cast Regen, then hit them with Weaken, Gale over and over again, then Slow and Sleep on Bunneh, hacked, whacked and slashed, then Great Cleave, bye bye Bunneh. Then my mana was down so I used Last Elixir and it was me and Mikuru Asahina, one on one. She stayed asleep, weakened and slowed. Never had a chance.

I do not know what's possible and what's not as of yet. What does "mechanic reviewed" mean?

I was reading the charts on white bunneh and mikuru and I could not decipher that at all. I thought "F:+75" was "75% resistant to fire" - I couldn't see what they were weak to, if anything. In retrospect I see White Bunneh with "C:-1" - is that weakness to cold?

- In order to fix a significant shortfall in proficiency at lower levels, it is now gained at a much faster rate below level 250. (This is linear at a 5x rate at level 1, tapering off to the normal rate at level 250.)

I think this is this change you are looking for. I should have taken more advantage of this change, my proficiencies are really bad, especially for Deprecating. But grinding for proficiencies is tedious.

LEVEL 100!!!!!!!

I just started growing an actual pair and fighting Grindfest at Nightmare and Pretty Tough levels. That sleep spell has saved my gluteus maximus FOUR TIMES on these difficulty levels, specifically during my Cure cooldown when a buncha mobs laughed at my Shadow Veil and Protection and knocked my HP down by better than 90%. The ones at level 99 that I kept putting asleep woulda finished me off. I pulled 30K to per trip to the Grindfest (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) and Random Encounters = 70XP now.

Always slap sleep on the strongest mob. And pray that it hits.

Speaking of accomplishments and power armor, I just accidentally forgot to take off Nintendo Mode (for my Grindfests) and accepted a Random Encounter challenge. For a gain of 100K XP I lost:
$2000 total for 1 Health Elixir and 1 Mana Elixir
$400 total for 1 Scroll of Swiftness and 1 Scroll of Shadows
$800 for Scroll of the Gods which I #$%@ing clicked by accident (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) (left it sitting in there for my last run at the RoB) but then I $&*#ing died (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif) and it fired Spark of Life (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool2.gif) so it turned out I actually needed it.

Grand total losses due to my foolishness:
$3200

But I did get an Exquisite Jade Power Armor of Warding that sells for $3028 but I'm not selling it because I plan on putting it in Armor Set 2 for when serious fights happen. I tested this bad boy out already and it's a beast. I wish it was level unbound or whatever they called it, I'd have gifted that to someone.

And since I survived Random Encounter on Nintendo Mode I'm an idiot and I think I'm Gokuu, which I'm not, but still, I gotta keep playing RE at Nintendo Mode. I'm gonna die for this, but whatever, a coward dies a thousand deaths. Wait, that's what Klingons say. But Gokuu would probably say it, too.

Um if you want to survive more easily you might want to consider using a shield and switching to 1h style rather than continue 2h because block does wonders. Not only that, shield bash (which you get immediately) allows you to stun a mob for 5 turns (although keep in mind that it does not reset existing stun count) with 10 turn CD.

But yes continue on Nintendo RE as it appears to be the minimum level for legendary to drop (despite what the wiki says since I'm doubtful if Leg can ever drop on hell). Whatever you do, don't attempt PFUDOR until past lvl 200 because you will likely die immediately without spirit shield.
