My first Ring of Blood happened on Saturday. Not sure if I'll be doing that again any time soon, especially since I'll only get 1000C for repeating that brutal experience.

only RoB worth redoing is FSM, which will reward you a trolly drop and a noodly, which can be sold at wtb for 40k or shrined by yourself - but still for a trolly drop.
you can simply do the other ones at normal difficulty for the first clear bonus

and then it came! after Fatality 5 and Overpower 3, Elec Strike appeared (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif)

I got my highest damage so far:

17 3 Great Cleave crits Butt Pirate for 60367 slashing damage

I got it by using Heartseeker, Spirit Stance and had Blessing of the RiddleMaster. My weapon is also Fatality Lv.4. Pretty good considering my base damage is 2571 at the moment.

Got another high damage worth mentioning.

20 3 Vital Strike crits Ryouko Asakura for 190504 void damage

This time I had Heartseeker, Spirit Stance and Overwhelming Strikes, but no Blessing of the RiddleMaster so not the highest possible crit. Current weapon is Fatality Lv.3 and attack base damage 2913. I think both of the hits have been on Hard difficulty setting.

no, maybe it was only a MP one (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

however it's ok to throw in anything you have on RoB - scrolls, a couple infusions on your weapon before starting etc etc.

Whether it is MP/SP attack doesn't really matter once the mobs been silenced.
Get your deprecating prof up so you can get silence, later it will be useful.
Once silence they can't cast any special attacks.

Just recently I deliberately let FSM spirit attack me and it hit for 25k+ damage, thankfully I have spirit shield permanantly on so only 100 sp deducted not that much. But lets just say that spirit attack would have killed me 2 times over.

Hence prevention is better than a cure (quite literally in this case, sorry for the pun I couldn't help myself).

No No No, letting FSM nearly kill me wasn't my accomplishment today (although now that I think about it maybe it should be).

But back to being serious again: For the first time ever my Mobs from the labs finally gave me a binding (although a useless one) but a binding nonetheless. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)
Also I realized this was my 400th spam post.

Aw, snap. My dep prof is 1.21. The wiki says I need level 120 and dep prof of 40, am I interpreting that right? How do you have perm spirit shield? Crazy uber gear? Argh. I bet seeing that in cloth form is gonna take a while and a lot of luck?

lv110, but however yes. silence is not viable for you. and not even spark. not that you'll meet opponents worth it in the near future, though - protection/absorb should be enough for now

permanent spirit shield is acquired via Innate Arcana hath perk. everyone can have it, provided he pays enough (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

mages can still take advantage of permanent spirit shield. only thing they cannot use is (permanent) spirit stance. btw, are you mage-ing at your level?
