I already bought 9000 tickets (just like yesterday, got double back anyway), I'm not really expecting or hoping to get it anyway. Yeah, it's peerless, but it's a Balance Longsword. Not exactly the greatest thing ever. It's not even Ethereal. Still pretty good though.

Now if it was a peerless Ethereal Rapier of Balance... /drool

Even the simplest melee is more involving than mage. Try this on for size:

Bring back the single target spells, and make them STRONG—one for each element which upgrades as you unlock their multi target equivalents. Multi targets deal less damage the more enemies they hit. Buff the spell procs and give them an additional buff based on proficiency. Breached Defense should also lower physical mitigation and Blunted Attack should be changed altogether, lowering monster regeneration rate.

I don't know, I find that I actually do more work as a melee in terms of choosing what to do than as a mage.

Cast spark of life, cast shadow veil, cast silence, cast sleep, hit so that I don't wake any mobs, cast silence, cast blind, heal, etc.

Granted, I was playing mage before all these new cooldowns and range limitations got added into the game. I haven't done any serious maging recently aside from a bit of prof training.

- Max specific mitigation reduction from Imperil was reduced to 40 percentage points for elemental and 25 percentage points for holy/dark.

How come imperil only reduces dark/holy mit by 20%? Am I doing something wrong?

Because you do not have lv.5 Holy/Dark Imperil yet, which is avalible at lv. 375.

Currently I use light.

Drop spark for spirit shield and facetank, and heal your spirit back with theft. Good to see I'm not the only one that knows the true power of blind, too (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)
