I like daggers, don't know why, but i like daggers. But it can happen that the two weapon become one. ChosenUno was a little rough, but one thing is true in that post. The simplicity is a positive factor in HV. 4-5-6 weapon type in 1H and another 7-8 in 2H is unnecessary for gameplay (And with the actual system i don't want to know how big is the database (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) ), but reducing it to the basic (1-2) is a bad idea too.
More type give a little random factor to the game, it's help in the WTS/WTB area and because that, we have better and not so good players.
Another factor that most people like to collect.

I love daggers and scythes. They are probably two weapon types that are more comfortable for me. The others being chains, traps, and very long range gear.

While simplicity is nice, I would like a bit more variety of weapons simply because otherwise we'll eventually all have almost the same gear XD
