Mikuru Asahina casts Time Quake, and hits you for 3697 dark damage (50% resisted)
30 9 Your spirit shield absorbs 3098 points of damage from the attack into 40 points of spirit damage.

just realize it now , it's very good resist system now (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/wub.gif)

maybe shade of negation will become more usefull & more valuable (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

Yea i like this player resist too, as a leather i'm saving allot of SP.

Although i'm not sure if Resist% blocks a spell completely or it has to roll 3 times to get 75/50/25 damage reduction?

I don't see how 12.5% chance to avoid damage is better than 50% (for me, especially since I refuse to grind proficiency for spells I already had for dozens of levels). Now, if he ALSO removes or completely reworks silence, THEN it would be a great change.

@qw3rt5: It is better for players, since it overall reduces damage more and because player can tank partial strikes better(thanks to spirit shield). In any case though evade will trigger first.
