QUOTE(nobody_xxx @ Sep 19 2013, 20:48) you complain alot in previous thread (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif) Naw I liked .76. It was a good patch for shade. I think someone even insulted me because I praised it too much. This patch doesn't get nearly as much attention because it was minor compared to .76. Also most people just use these threads to complain about the patch, so the fact that this thread isn't very long yet is probably a good thing. Anomtai you've been here since 06 and you didn't know something like that (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) You're almost like a relic now doesn't seem to be many who post now from that long ago, according to my calculations you're the 7873 member to register here, I think Tenboro is the 3rd, who was before him did he not create the site? I looked for your name when I checked those numbers nobody_xxx took me a while to figure out it's using your old name it came as a great shock at first to see you weren't there what with your OCD posting habits This post has been edited by Homicidalsage: Sep 20 2013, 07:47

And I thought I had throttled back in there. This post has been edited by Anomtai: Sep 20 2013, 08:57

One day I had nothing better to do other than going around clicking everything on the site to see what happened that's how I found out about it.

Does proficiency still reduces resist? I tried max (2xlevel) proficiency, but cannot observe difference in resist, comparing to a all-phase set. (at PFU) QUOTE(ChosenUno @ Sep 19 2013, 09:37) How is holy/dark weaker? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) I cannot explain it. But my holy/dark set cannot approach (much lower quality) Elemental set any more at IWBTH This post has been edited by HTTP/308: Sep 20 2013, 10:13

You know that feeling you get when your hands start shaking and you begin sweating profusely and it doesn't go away until you post about the newest piece of equipment that just dropped for you (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/duck.gif)

It's disappointing that you observe proficiency having such a low impact on resists. I was wondering if adding more proficiency would help. I feel like the resist frequency and amount of damage reduction are both too high. One or the other would probably be okay, but both as they are now makes playing this game feel very laborious.

I tried all gossamer (819 forbidden prof, 2.25x my level). It 'seemed' like there is less monster resist. Someone should update the HV Stats to include # of 25%, 50%, 75% resists, and I will try it again. Personally, I would not try to mix gossamer and phase to get prof higher; the damage output with gossamer/prof is just too low.

50% proficiency (3-4 prof pieces) should be yielding -17(.67) mitigation vs. monsters. prof gear should provide a positive damage effect compared to wearing nothing, but obviously switching out phase will yield in a loss of damage due to phase just being outright better as soon as you get imperil

Hey, guys that always suffer to get economiser 5. The lottery today have a 25.11% mana conservation staff, no economiser needed (or possible) to add to it.
(I even bought 1 ticket)
