As for same players I know, they think Mjolnir is the cheapest one of the four element, because they haven't saw many Mjolnir Phases fighting heavily in auction.

What do you consider nice, Exquisite Max or Mag max (for EDB, INT, WIS)?
Because You can get Mjolnir EDB from Willow AND Redwood.
Same logic applies to other elements.

Oh I forgot, maybe because all mages use wind protection augmentation, which reduces mitigation to Mjolnir? Do other elemental mages use the spike augmentation that reduces mits to their specific element? e.g. fire mages use Shock spike shield?

I do that for my melee set, and my Lightning elemental set.
- Tower Shields were retired and rolled into Kite Shields, which now have the protection stats of Tower (+physical/magical mitigation [5,12] and +block [15,25]), as well as the +burden/interference [25,15] of Kite, but no longer drops in the "Barrier" variant.
- A new shield type, Force Shields, was added. These have the highest +block [20,30] of any shield type, +physical/magical mitigation [5,12] equal to Kite Shields, and +burden [10,4] comparable to Bucklers, but a very high +interference [60,40]. Like rare armor, it also requires a special component to upgrade in the forge.

hmm... I guess you're right. But it just seems wrong that bucklers (with barrier) and kites can have the same max block chance.
PS: I use a buckler so I'm actually happy about that (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) PSPS: For the mage discussion: Yup same for me, when I mage I use freyr 'cause I have the cold spikes maxed out.
