I just wanted to know what it felt like to say pretty much the same thing in every post. It's either profanity laden, COD4 advertisements (always the threat of being pwned) and the word artard. Gotta say, didn't really work for me, so I'll leave it to you.

Well gee, if ignorant people like yourself didn't think that their own fecal matter didn't stink, maybe this forum wouldn't have fallen into such noobish hands. Most of the former regulars have gone on elsewhere, or just plain out stopped caring and very rarely post anymore. So do you understand what you and the others like yourself have caused? I can remember a time before you came to the forum where I actually enjoyed it and there were at least 30+ new posts that amused me, now its rare that I find one or two. The only pleasure I get here anymore is when imbeciles like yourself decide to open your mouth and i get to cram my verbal foot up your ass for being so ignorant. So I'll tell you what, you climb down off that high horse of yours and take a nice big whiff of that stench, that smell is the stench of this forums fun rotting away because people like yourself killed it long ago and left its raped corpse out for the world to see.

You are sadly mistaken in that regard. Believe me, I am here to have fun too. In fact, the majority of my posts are in for towards that end. But it's rather bothersome to see that all of your posts are just "fuck this" and "fuck you" and "artard" this and so on. It really doesn't matter the subject. I mean you did create a thread about how you were hating life and asking why you are here. Some people came in and even without knowing you, they offered reassuring words and at least tried to help in their own way. You lashed out on them and cursed them for trying.
I just don't understand what pleasure you get out of coming on the forums and trying to assert some unnecessary masculinity. Instead of conversing with people, and maybe getting angry when it's warranted, you'd rather just curse at anyone who dares speak without your permission. Granted some people do make stupid mistakes, but I'd venture a guess that most don't do it intentionally. And instead of holding on to this ideal of what the past was like, I'd hope you would try to enjoy the forum as it and it's people change. But instead you'd rather accuse people of ruining your forum.
If you'd like to call this being on my high horse, then so be it.

Why is it bothersome to see his posts are directly aimed at people in a hateful manner? He has always been that way on the forum, and he was hated and bashed for it at first, then everyone (the regulars) grew to love him and he became one of the better members. The forum - although shitty - was still a pretty funny place to look at a year ago, now, it's full of complete retards that just make it look like a complete shit hole, and it's about as fun as a cactus being inserted up my rectum. Most posts now have some cunt tard complaining about how it's going off topic, or complete fucktards start pointless threads, like "why don't people like me" or some other bullshit that no one cares about. Which causes even more ruckus and shit all over it.
I stand by, you don't like him? Block him. Or better yet, leave and just use the galleries and don't use the forum.
Also - before this turns into some shitty forum flame war (I.Q. GA's ages ago) I do not care what your reply is, and I wont reply to it.

That may be, but the people of these forums are slowly changing. That isn't necessarily due to some influx of new people, but just a matter of time. When he was new and hated, that was one thing... but now when people brand new come to the site and see this guy with nearly 2000 posts and the power he has, they get intimidated. It's really disheartening when you come to a site and find yourself up against the wall by the people who are most visible on the site. It really is overwhelming when you try to come to a site and try to make friends with people and become a part of the community, and it seems like every step you take is like walking on eggshells.
I know all the people who know him will defend him and his ways, and I expect that. But I look at it like this personally. It isn't the new people coming in that is ruining the community, it's the community's unwillingness to adapt to changes and grow that is turning it into a shithole. Welcome new people and let them prove themselves and they may prove to be an awesome addition to the community. But I'm sure some people just figure it isn't worth it when 5 posts into their existence they are already being lambasted for just being there.
Post Paddette edit edit: I never intend on creating a flame war. I may offer a differing opinion, but my intent is not to flame nor attack anyone. If you don't want to respond to this, then so be it. But I will make my opinion known regardless.

Ok im going to refer to an old friend of mine here Bladejtr, when i say this. We the current regulars should not have to adapt to you the newcomers. YOU, the newcomers, should ADAPT AND OVERCOME to us, the regulars. This idea has been pushed so far into a closet somewhere now that people lik you can run around spewing bullshit rhetoric about how t forum is changing, and we should adapt to it. If noobs like yourself weren't coddled s much from the start maybe you could have built up a thick skin to callous people like myself and learned to block it out and take it at face value, A FUCKING ADULT ORIENTED INTERNET FORUM.

I agree with you partially on newcomers adapting to the forum status quo. Believe me, it has been a tremendous adjustment coming to a forum like this from my most common place of Minitokyo. To be honest, I overall enjoy this forum more because of it's openess in subject matter as well as how uninhibited it's members are. There isn't a strict set of rules that have to be followed in regards to language or what we talk about at all. But it again comes down the intimidation factor. A lot of new people (myself included) feel like "holy shit, what do I have to do to fit in here" and that is a hard question to answer. I enjoy crude jokes and ribbing people in jest, but once it gets downright hateful (or perceived as hateful) it is really discouraging.
To be honest, the short time I have been on the forums, I didn't mind you. You did have a lot of humorous comments and I thought you were pretty cool. But of late, it just seems like you are more prone to just curse wildly with no real provocation and just go for the throat of anyone new. Whether that's the case, I don't know. I haven't seen all of your posts. I admit that my post using your patented "artard" word, was partially due to that anger of seeing your most recent posts.
I'd perfer that this doesn't escalate any further, but I did want to at least make a point. If you choose to remain angry then I'll have to accept that. But I just worry that months from now, we may find ourselves regretting that some of those people we as a community scared off might have been pretty nice additions.

I HIGHLY DOUBT I WILL LOSE SLEEP OVER "POTENTIAL FORUM MEMBERS" THAT FAILED TO JOIN. Here is a fucking thought dipshit, if you are so discouraged and intimidated, do like the other fucking people do AND LEAVE!

Just finished off Castle Crashers and now it's FINALLY on to Tales of Vesperia. Fucking oddball controls and pretty craptastic voice acting, but it seems like it'll be pretty good. Aside of the horrible Tales of Legendia, I'm usually pretty pleased by the Tales series.

Harvest Moon: Island of Happiness. it took a while to get used to, but it's pretty fun (albeit frustrating, fucking stamina), and it's the first time in a Harvest Moon game where I can't decide on who to marry. :(

Playing Disgaea 3 and SimCity 4. I just bought Breath of Fire 3 also, so when it comes in the mail so I might just focus on that until I beat it.

QUOTE(Paddette @ Sep 9 2008, 07:43) Too human
Opinion? I've heard mixed reviews and for the most part people have been disappointed. I thought about picking it up because I'm an RPG nut, but too much negaitive press has me rethinking that.

Hey! The Wii is a real console! If you're a 5 year old retarded monkey with arthritis that is.
Addendum: In before abp thinks about writing "in before noahbody".

Playing Persona 3 FES for the first time through, about 1 "month" in the game.
How's Disgaea 3? I loved the first one, thought the 2nd was great but still kind of meh, so... wondering about the 3rd.
