I've been such a mess the last few weeks. I'm not really sure if I've posted on the forums in a while, so bear with me if I seem to be repeating stuff.
Ah, let's see... I haven't had any work for the past few weeks, which is killing me, but I've got a stupid amount of time to waste on video games. It's really driving me nuts, to be honest.
Started playing Terranigma (SNES, Computer) on emulator again. When I had stopped last, I had just begun the age of man, and gone through Louran, the Illusionary zombie-town. I've now done the Princess Elle stuff, and I was partway through the Castle in Spain (where I'd always gotten stuck previously) when I got random-critted by one of those ball-and-chain knights and killed. I'll get back to it this weekend, but that killed my motivation because I made the silly mistake of not having saved for around 2 hours.
Still working on Wild Arms 5 (PS2); I've got only a little bit left before I effectively unlock the "Ex. New Game". I probably won't do another playthrough, but it feels like I might as well make that final push. The endgame is rather stupid and makes me rage, though.
I've taken a break from Monster Hunter Tri (Wii), mainly only playing it when new Event Quests pop up and when my friends ask for help with various hunts. I'm fine with that at the moment. Also messed around with Kirby's Dreamland 3 (SNES, Virtual Console), only two more Stardrop happy whatever-the-fuck-those-things-are before I can get the good ending.
Started what should be my final run in Tales of Vesperia (360). I know, I know, I've played the game to death already. Finished it 2-3 times on 360, then 2 more times on PS3. But I haven't 1000/1000ed it on XBox. >>
Borrowed and finished a first playthrough of Army of Two: The 40th Day (PS3), starting again on hard mode with the same friend I beat it with before. There is no way for me to describe this game other than 'mindless fun'. There are some issues with it, but most of them aren't directly with the gameplay.
Also, and lastly(?), been messing with BlazBlue: Continuum Shift (PS3) with friends who own it. It's not what I would call my fighting game (I much prefer Arcana Heart), but I've been able to get away with destroying almost everyone with Iron Tager. I like grab/throw characters, though I've been dabbling with Makoto Nanaya in order to get back into rushdown; I tend to like characters with shitty range in my fighting games, I've noticed.
