Just beat Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Wii) around an hour ago; slightly shorter than I was expecting. Don't Mario games usually have 8 or 9 worlds? This one had 6, though 7 if you count the Special World which I haven't messed with yet. I was just backtracking to collect Stars I hadn't bothered with. I'm at 85 now, guessing there are 120 like usual.
A little bit of Ragnarok Battle Offline (PC) with a friend yesterday. If you enjoy Ragnarok Online and haven't heard of this game, look it up. It's a very good beat-em-up, though a lot of things might not make sense if you didn't play the game during the first year it was out.
The local GameCrazy (in fact, the whole chain) was going out of business, so I stopped by on Tuesday and picked up a few games that were dirt-cheap. I grabbed a few DVDs from Hollywood Video, the rental chain that is linked to GC and therefore also going out of business, but that's besides the point.
Main thing to state it that I grabbed My Japanese Coach (DS) for less than 20 bucks (probably the most expensive item I bought) and messed with it over the last day or so. Right off the bat, I was able to skip the first 5 lessons, and I could have skipped the 6th if they used Kanji, so it's been a good refresher, even if I haven't learned anything new.
The other games were impulse buys, so I won't bother mentioning them unless I actually start playing them.
Time to update the Completed List...
