QUOTE(hitokiri84 @ Nov 27 2008, 21:19) That guy is insane. He literally practiced that for over a year before he FC'ed TTFAF. I've FC'ed about 25-30 songs on expert for GH3, but I can only get 88% on TTFAF. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wacko.gif) I can get to 1% on TTFAF.

You have to learn to tap the intro. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Once you're past that, finishing the song isn't too hard, unless the solos start to hurt your arm like me. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/heh.gif)

WoW, ever since WotLK I've been a tad bit of an addict. My GF is getting worried and she's constantly inviting me out, of course I leave the house though..

In between battles here, I'm playing Star Fox 2 on my SNES emulator!
And it's just about time for a said battle now.
Damn Baby Blue Hedgehog! It kicked my ass with a 9 damage spin attack!

I'm continuing the campaign of CoD WAW, but it's hard, it seems that the enemies are bending the bullets like the movie "Wanted", they can hit me behind every corner or cover!

I've finally stopped killing mindless time on Street Fighter HD remix and Rock Band and started Valkyria Chronicles. I've been playing for maybe an hour now, and I'm in love.

I finally ordered the Metal Gear boxset; finished MGS1, started MGS2, and also Pokemon Sapphire, because finishing my Diamond Pokedex is completely necessary.

took a break from emulation to play a PC shooter called X-10 VATTEN. It is just pure perverted fun! (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) You blast the clothes of anime girls using a penis shaped ship. It's so awesome!

Recently took GH3 back up, with the release of GH4 I kind of felt like I had some unfinished business there, but I'm stuck at Slayer on expert...
Also recently started on Assassins Creed, lovely game. Fabulous animations on the characters! And of course, Fallout 3 is never far away.

Played some Ace Combat 6 on the 360. The XFA-44 is complete and utter overkill, but who cares when you can shoot down fighters with a railgun?

I can't stand Ace Combat because it's not realistic. If you don't understand why I'd prefer realism, then just check my profile. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

An instance where real life has had a direct effect on his enjoyment of fantasy. Wait, couldn't that mean sleeping with a real woman would make you not like hentai because of it's lack of realism? PARADOX!

Not related. (IMG:[ i422.photobucket.com] http://i422.photobucket.com/albums/pp308/hitokiri84/eusa_hand.gif) Considering how much time I've spent learning about aircraft and physics in general, I deserve to hate arcadish shit like Ace Combat. It's the same way an ME would hate car games like Burnout and prefer to play something like Forza or Gran Turismo. This post has been edited by hitokiri84: Dec 2 2008, 11:49

Hey, I work as a game designer, and most of the time I detest reality, so I suppose I can relate to that point of view. I would like to point out that in 99% of cases for 99% of people, more realism = less fun.

I would prefer realistic jet combat at least since I have a degree in Aerospace. For other stuff, less realism is usually more fun.

Finished the main game of Etrian Odyssey 2 around Thanksgiving, finishing up quests and preparing for the postgame dungeon floors.
I also picked up a 360 to play Tales of Vesperia, and for variety I grabbed Tenchu Z, MK vs DC, and Soul Calibur IV (primarily for customized characters).
Otherwise, I've been playing BoF3 weekly with the intent of actually finishing it this time (it really helps to have a friend watching), and sometimes observing my friend play Mirror's Edge and run through Dead Space on the second playthroughs.
I really need to finish Legaia 2: Duel Saga just to get it over with, I have multiple Tales games I need to finish or continue my 2nd playthroughs of (Destiny, the real Destiny 2, Innocence). I've also neglected Namco x Capcom for about a month now. Hard to find 3 hours to do one battle in, what with the holiday season.
