I'll be direct and attempt to be to the point.
Wild Arms 5 (PS2): Much better than I was expecting. I was dreading starting up another RPG for fear of being disappointed, but so far it's not bad. Worst thing about it so far is the story; there are way too many scenes that I can only describe as 'awkward'. I'll likely rant about it when I'm done.
Uncharted 2: Among Thieves (PS3): So far, better than the first game in every way. Story is better, graphics are better, writing is better, combat is better, climbing is better, pacing is better... My only complaint with it so far is one I had with the first one, that I don't think they'll ever be able to fix. The game is linear (as was the first one), but wants you to collect treasures and explore a little bit. Key word being 'a little bit'. Many times I think "I can make that jump" or "It looks like I can get up there/over there/down there", overextend myself, and die for my trouble. I'll rant about that later, if I find it frustrating enough.
Pokemon Platinum (DS): Starting to get back into the swing of things. Pokemon HeartGold/SoulSilver come out in about two months, and I think that's given me some motivation to start making competitive Pokemon again.
New Super Mario Bros: Wii (Wii): Every other weekend or so, I've been continuing this with some friends; we beat the game, but now we need to collect all the Big Coins in every stage to play through World 9/Star World.
No More Heroes: Desperate Struggle (Wii): Wow. The gameplay has been improved significantly, the writing is still at least as good as it was in the first one, and earning money is still arduous, but there is very little I've had consistent complaints with. Most of my deaths have come from me getting tired (I keep playing it late at night at a friend's) or frustrated (Muscle Training at the gym), not really from gameplay.
