Internet's been down for the past week, only partially connected right now. I've taken the opportunity to work a little on some other stuff (drawing tablet, RPing, Comp organization), but still managed to get some gaming in.
Last Saturday or something, I started up Steam in Offline mode and played through 2 more scenarios in Left 4 Dead 2 (PC); Swamp Fever and Hard Rain. Swamp Fever was meh until the finale, which was pretty cool. Hard Rain was pretty cool all the way through.
I just want to mention as a disclaimer, I'm so bad at Left 4 Dead games, it's pretty astounding. Or at least, I'm bad at surviving the finales. I'd daresay I'm so bad at surviving the Zombie Apocalypse, I'd probably be the first person who spreads the infection in the first place.
Otherwise, working more on Tales of Vesperia (PS3) for Trophies, Uncharted: Drake's Fortune (PS3) to get all the medals in preparation for buying the sequel (I've heard your gameplay carries over in some way to the second one), and LittleBigPlanet (PS3), which I 'beat' yesterday. Finished the Story mode, for what that's worth. The Factory stage or whatever was pretty frustrating. I can't imagine how bad it would be with 4 players.
Oh, yes. I've also picked up Etrian Odyssey 2: Heroes of Lagaard (DS) again, since a third game in the series has been announced.
My friend who has been playing EarthBound (SNES) has finally conquered all the 'Your Sanctuary' locations, and just reached Magicant. It's very entertaining to me, an EB veteran, to watch someone play the game for the first time. A lot of the doubletakes ("Is that Mr. T?" and "Yes is No and No is Yes in Moonside, dammit!") and stunned silences ("...Dinosaurs, really?" "Zombie flypaper?") make watching him play a worthwhile experience.
