I finished Luminous Arc 2 this last weekend. Started up a New Game+, then stared at it long and hard for at least 10 minutes, asking myself "why?". Now I'm going to pack it up and put it in the trade-in pile. I've got better things to do than submit myself to another 100 hours wasted.
Grandia 2, just got in and out of the Granas Cathedral after the first long sequence with Pope Zera Innocentius. That name by itself makes me suspicious as all getout. Gotta go find the Granasaber. I have a few things I'm highly expectant of, but half of them I really hope don't happen. Then again, I was 95% sure of the 'Elena is Millenia' thing even though I was really hoping it wasn't true, and anyone who has played the game knows how that turned out.
Dunno how, but I got unstuck in Tales of Innocence, so I'm playing that again. I forgot how much I liked the cast, even if my sub-par Japanese doesn't carry me through all the joking and speech mannerisms.
Team Fortress 2 at random and on whims. Latest update stuff is causing shitstorms, as always. King of the Hill is a cool new gametype. The new Capture the Flag "Capping Team gets 10 seconds of Crits" thing really streamlined the process, and now most games don't turn into turtlefest hour-long tests of patience. Most games become steamrolls for whoever is more aggressive, which is far better than spending half an hour trying to bust through Sentry nests.
Also ordered another game, despite the fact that I should know better: Arc the Lad Collection, games 1-3 as well as the Monster Arena side-game. I really liked the series before, though the copies I played years ago weren't mine.
Uhm... myself and friends who were playing through Hoshigami: Ruining Blue Earth gave up on it due to tedium. Game is really unforgiving. I myself made it about... 6-8 story battles in when I played it solo years ago. This time? We couldn't even clear the 3rd story battle, in Fazz's burned village. Kinda embarrassing. We're going to move on to Makai Kingdom, where grinding doesn't seem like as hard or steep a requirement.
