Vikings - Wolves of Midgard and recommend it to anyone who likes ARPG's in general and/or Viking stuff.
There are 5 classes, each associated with a certain Nordic deity, defined by the weapons used, but not restricted. The restriction comes in the form of skills available. So, if you go Dual Wield, you can't use skills associated with Dual Wielding if you switch to using a Bow, vice versa. Unless you spend points in the Skill Tree associated with Bows, etc.
There are many items to find/buy. Enemy variety is sufficient. There are I think 30 levels in total and some of them are quite large. Each level has a Boss fight at the end. You can replay most levels to gain additional resources, which you are awarded by completing levels and/or challenges for each level.
Challenges are kill/destroy/gather X for Y amount type things, 3 or 4 per level. The game saves at certain points on the map or when you return to your Village/complete a level.
Also, you can play as a Male Warrior or Female Shieldmaiden, with some customization options for your character. There is also a New Game+ mode after you complete the game.
I recommend getting it during a sale but it's not an expensive game, anyway.
