Final Fantasy Tactics: War of the Lions.

The PS1 translation was bad so I'm not hating the update but it is funny at times. Ye old English just seems to be the translators going to the most round about ways of saying simple things. Which is even funnier when characters in FFT are mad they drop all the antiquated antics and go with the American classic of go to hell.

Also playing P3P now that PSP retro days are a thing for me.

Luckily P3 is just as fun hand held and the only real suffering is static background and not walking from A to B. Yeah so you don't get fully animated scenes like at the beginning where Yukari holds an evoker to her head. Or get to sit down and see your character eat ramen but all the combat is fully there.

I'd say it doesn't hurt anything as that's really just background noise, you characters develop with text just as well without a scene. Sitting with Mutatsu or Maiko is not really a game changer to building social links.

Also, not gonna lie playing as female MC is fun because you can blue ball every dude in the game and just hang with Yukari and Fuuka. Junpei wants to hang out on the weekend, denied and bam off to the film festival with Mitsuru or Rio.
