Final notes:

Hello Red_Piotrus,

Per your PM, I've copy/pasted the script here.

There is only one real issue to note for this one, and that has to do with the male lead's name for the first half. All the source materials, both official and unofficial, always call him "Shinbo," but the author here calls him "Shinpo" in at least two places with phonetic hiragana. I don't really know how well you understand Kanji and Japanese in general, but to make a very long story short, Shinpo is an unusual(?), but apparently not completely unfair, reading of his name kanji. I noted where this happened in the script. Aside from the two places explicitly marked in the script, the only other time his name was spoken was with kanji, and I translated it Shinbo. My official recommendation is just to pretend like he meant Shinbo every time the name comes up.

Other than that, things went fairly well. Please PM me once you've had a chance to look through it.

I'm makin fairly slow progress on this one. the raws are lacking a bit (altho for experianced editers/cleaners, I'm sure this is probably fairly good. )
I've got 12 pages out of 38 cleaned. and none typesetted yet.

Nvm I now have 0 pages cleaned. I went searching and found the raws before they were saved as jpg. so I'm starting over.

Odd. they're still jpg's but has hardly any artifacts as the one in the gallery. I guess the one in the galley ws saved with too high of a compresson... I hate jpgs <.<

Ok, now I'm confused. The beter quality raws i found have a larger file size, (of course) but the actual image size is smaller than the ones in the gallery. which leads me to believe that the ones in the gallery were resized to be larger.

look at the thread lol. someone named pop9 did it. and i assume he's a a veteran since he has like 22,000 posts lol. i pm'd him and asked him why he expunged it. i'm guessing because he saw that i'm basically new to the forums and such and figured i posted an excate duplicate. altho if he looked at the filesize, the original one is 6.9 mb and the one i posted was 15.83 mb.

look at the thread lol. someone named pop9 did it. and i assume he's a a veteran since he has like 22,000 posts lol. i pm'd him and asked him why he expunged it. i'm guessing because he saw that i'm basically new to the forums and such and figured i posted an excate duplicate. altho if he looked at the filesize, the original one is 6.9 mb and the one i posted was 15.83 mb.

Ok, i took your advise and posted in the wrongfully expunged thread. your right, the worse that'll happen is it stays expunged, (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Cool. Btw, now that I looked at the scans, I see that yours is, size-wise, pretty small. Which ones are you using in the end? Bottom line is they both suck, but most people will probably care about the size. Resizing is evil, but... not sure what to do. Can you post a sample page you've cleaned and/or finished here?

Yea i noticed the size image dif when i started to typeset. font at 12 res for big bubbles is horid. but i "may" have found a solution with filters and things but i had to comit a editors sin (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) considering the quality of the raws hopefully this will still be a little passable, but i need opinions on it.

indeed. i was recently told that the best option would be to actually use the larger raws that are already up but i had already edited all of the smaller one. I posted on the editors thread you created and it seems i may be able to get this to at least look decent. here's a revised verson of the one i posted a bit ago.
