I don't remember my very first one, but the first anime I watched from begining to end in a single sitting was Escaflowne.

Speed Racer, Kiki's Delivery Service, and some others when I was younger. But the first show I actually watched subbed was Busou Renkin.

Apart from the usual childhood anime, I think the show that got me into being a rabid fan would be Kanon 2006. I don't remember how I can across it, but it really got me engaged in anime.

Fuck, those text effects are cringe worthy now.

Probably either Samurai Pizza Cats, Tekkaman Blade or DBZ. Although at the time I had no idea they were anime, I just thought they were normal cartoons.

Death Note, as many here, I'm sure.

Like many others I watched Pokemon, Sailor Moon, Dragon Ball and the sort. Though the first series I went out to watch with subs was the original Full metal alchemist adaptation.

Doraemon. it's pretty good

Azumanga Daioh. I still love it.

Samurai Pizza Cats was an anime right?

If Yugioh doesn't count, Shaman King.

Pokemon for me and I didn't even want to watch it until my parents showed it to me on television and then I got hooked. Afterwards it was stuff on Toonami like Tenchi Muyo, Dragon Ball Z, Big-O, and Yu Yu Hakusho.

Dragonball Z. I remember the setting on Namek and only catching like 10 episodes. A couple years later I finally found out the name.

I got into it with Naruto, but soon gave up. Gintama brought me back to it.

Pokemon was the first thing i watched at TV after school, the first thing i watched subbed was hellsing ultimate.

I watched some classics like Pokemon and DragonBall when I was a kid, but what hooked me into anime when I was a teen is Death Note. Pretty good series, even after taking off the nostalgia googles.
