Voltron a.k.a GoLion released in America. GoLion actually a production by Toei, a Japanese studio. This franchise in Japan practically dead. But really popular in America that it got reboot from Netflix + DreamWorks.

Dubbed Gundam Wing. Gundam is still my favourite Mecha franchise.

the first anime that i actually went on the internet to search MYSELF, back around 2006 was DigiCharat and Azumanga.

I'm not sure, because it was too small. But I think it was one of these:

- Mach Go Go Go (Speed Racer)
- Ougon Bat (Phantaman)
- Ribbon no Kishi (Princess Knight)

But the first I remember clearly were:

- Groizer X
- Macross
- Uchuu Senkan Yamato

Gundam Wing and Dragonball Z on Toonami were the first anime I saw. The first one that "got me into" anime was probably Fullmetal Alchemist or Trigun

The first anime I completed was Fullmetal Alchemist, before that - probably Dragon Ball.

I dont really remember. I think it was Urusei Yatsura or Time Bokan Yattaman

Inuyasha for me. I'd stay up late at night waiting for it to come on on Adult Swim because I didn't know internet VODs were a thing at the time. I spent years doing that. I still listen to the OST from time to time. Shame that the filler became so obtuse after a while, but it's still one of my favorites.
