I didn't gave it much thought when I said to purchase it really, and took this club for granted when it really is a weapon that makes up a great part of your experience in Hentaiverse. Since I'm primarily a mage, I don't think it'll guide me into the Godslayer ranks as much as it did for you. Well, the least I can do is name it "the Hand of Guidance" or similar, and include it whenever I try out melee every now and then, now that I tried it, it's good enough for shielded 1H setup (say goodbye to overrated Holy Sword wannabe stance!), though I'll keep DW'ing rapiers for my DW setup, if you come accross any good hallowed rapier, let me or Screamx know, I already have one, but he didn't.

EDIT:I've met a "In Memory of Dark Mages" monster in PFUDOR First Blood, on the very first round, while I'm in my Surtr phase armament (read =my most squishy wizard setup) no less.
Simple to say, this critter put me through hell, I barely won against the critter with two Spark of Lifes, on top of countless debilitating spells I've put the critter on. I had to run away at the 3rd round, ran out of spirit potions to go by, I got creamed by another one these critter in a IWBTH RE. Now I see where your dread came from...

Also, raise your depreciation proficiency to 40 ASAP! I've met the "In Memory of Dark Mages" monsters today and barely won thanks to these spells, you'll dread them like no tomorrow if you got yourself creamed fighting these monsters head-on.

those dark mages are usually arthropods or giants and with huge health points... plus, both of them are resistant against fire, so you were basically petting them (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)
usually i keep them as last mobs and take care of the small fry first to have less special attacks against me, but it's also true that i have SS always active. you could try to silence/sleep them to buy some time...

They have high resistance to pretty much everything really. Also, I'm geared towards fire in the wake of varst's suggestion, but I'm not fire-element specific mage, so I can simply change to another element if one didn't work. Also, I didn't have Silence when I fought one in First Blood, and barely won with Imperil and Sleep spell, but now I've learned Silence jic.

We only scanlate Miku Doujins though, not to mention we're severely understaffed in proofreaders and editors. In fact, I would like to recruit kos9494 into the ranks, he can pay for the mace later if he joined.

I ran the Magnificent Arctic Axe of Slaughter through IW some more to raise it to Level 3. It now has Fatality 1 as well as Overpower 1 and Brutality 1. It's a very good buy for the price.
