Some Basic Food should available for them, just like potions of Health, Mana, & Spirit are!

Think Tenboro is trying to reduce some monsters (especially in suspected multiple accounts) and probably make monster farming a LITTLE harder.

If desperate you can try WTS forum, some sellers are starting to sell food. I think around 200-300 but going fast.

Looks like ST-Ru is the trailblazer. I'm shocked that piyin wasn't first (maybe he's getting tired (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) 0).


If you have the credits, could start a WTB post - seems a few people have an overabundance.

Also, arenas - see if Hell difficulty or higher makes difference.

it can't be that hard to get food right? cause I have over 200 monster chow atm (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

just go do some arena and you will eventually get a decent amount (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/smile.gif)

I understand what this guy is saying. I have 16 chow tier monsters but no chow to feed them. Just edibles and cuisines. I had to niten my way though every arena on normal to get a decent supply of chow. ATM I have 99 chows, 22 edibles and 41 cuisines.

I only have 1 edible tier monster and no cuisine tier.

Collecting chow hasn't seemed very hard to me: I'm hardly a heavy player and I've been getting about 2 dozen chow a day, (about twice what I need).

Just make a point of tracking that you have gotten at least enough each day, and do some low-difficulty grinding if you need more.

What type of food does monsters need?

Short Answer is "Chow"

I'm new to this too, as it is a new feature in HV.

I deduced from looking at one of my Monsters that their is a "Food Tier:" system and currently my Monster needs "Chow" of which I have 0 in stock to feed them. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif)

Type/tier of food required by monsters depends on its power level; my highest monster is 285 and it still needs the low-level 'Chow'...

After this patch I need 2-3 hours to find 200+ chows to feed my 32 monsters everyday, But I have a life and don't have that much time playing this text game on a porn site.

I also don't have enough crystals to buff all their morale either, even with a crystal perk.

I guess I gotta start grindan' some arenas for Chow, I cannot let my dear pets die!

Screw feeding all my monsters, they ain't even brought me anything in DAYS even the only 2 I feed

Nope. 99% of monsters will have 0% morale in a few days, which is what Tenb wanted. Now, only elite players will have monsters that bring them gifts, leaving the rest of us with a bunch of monsters that are useless and don't bring us gifts. Overall, the new patch isn't bad, but a few more tweaks are needed, like this Morale abyss.

I just spent 20k on crystals to get my 8 monsters out of red morale, I'd have to spend 50~75k to get them in the green.

no point maintaining so many monsters if they rarely bring you any gifts...

It seems like maintaining your monsters is now as important as playing the game doing battles.

Good thing I didn't go crazy on monsters.

There should be an "auto-feed" ability for the monsters. Feeding them once a day to keep them in the green is tedious and boring. You should be able to set it so they are automatically fed each day, so long as you have enough food (you should have over 100+ of each food type by now).
