Do you know how to recover a damaged registry hive so the user doesn't lose installed application's configurations without resorting to backups? Or even edit one without using the Windows install DVD/CD or one of those "Live" DVD/CDs?

Or how to rebuild an user profile from a damaged session without previous copies, system restore or backups so the user won't lose files, personalizations and private program installs?

Or how to make a system "wake up on its own" perform a series of tasks automatically and resume suspension using nothing but the system's own "wake on" events and Windows' scripting host?

And installing another application, program or service that does something already present on a system is not an upgrade, but many times makes it to have duplicate or triplicate identical services be installed and thus result in diminished performance. You have to install "extensions/addons" to make full use of web pages in Chrome, Firefox and the like... Guess what? Many of those are services and are already present in your Windows system simply because they are part of it. By installing third party applications and their extensions you almost always end up with slower performance because said services require processor time, memory and Windows' system time.

If you are talking about how to make you're PC laptop whatever perform tasks at set times, than when done stop, than when that time comes around again to it again....Yes I did it on a few things at one time.
