Well one of us is too bad at this game to put two and two together and continue on his merry way. The other one has happily completed his night's arenas and isn't complaining in a thread about non-existent problems. On you.

QUOTE(Bunker Buster @ May 19 2013, 01:34) 50% less damage > 50% evade, plus you get more hits off of sparks.
Yeah but it'll fuck my offensive stats, I want speed with estoc dammit (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . Shade gives me much better crit, accuracy, and damage. My pmi is a bit better with the new changes to agility. Plus, I'm fucking stubborn. I stuck with light when it was by far the worse armor type, I don't see myself quitting now, lol.

Trio and the Tree @ IWBTH with this estoc and full cloth. CODE 602 9 You gain 1996 Credits! 602 8 You gain 1445393 EXP! 602 7 Arena Token Bonus! [Chaos Token] 602 6 Arena Clear Bonus! [Exquisite Kite Shield of Warding] 602 5 Yggdrasil dropped [Sapling] 602 4 Verdandi dropped [12x Crystal of Vigor] 602 3 You are Victorious! 602 2 Urd has been defeated. 602 1 You crit Urd for 5863 void damage. 601 2 Void Strike hits Urd for 1911 void damage. 601 1 You hit Urd for 3270 void damage. 600 3 Urd gains the effect Penetrated Armor. 600 2 Void Strike crits Urd for 1764 void damage. 600 1 You crit Urd for 5051 void damage. ADWD is manageable with a good weapon and excellent shade. Heavy most likely too, but I don't play with mitigations so I'd be a bad judge for that.

no u that's about the level of intellect your posts exude, try to prove me wrong (you can't) QUOTE(T_Starrk @ May 19 2013, 11:41) Yeah but it'll fuck my offensive stats, I want speed with estoc dammit (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) . Leather Protection is currently the best non-plate armor in the game (high MMI, PMI almost better than kevlar, all 6 stat rolls) and you should probably get a breastplate or pants of that since shade has a better benefit ratio on arms/legs/gloves but fairly lacking in comparison to kevlar / leather-prot when it comes to pants and chestpiece. You won't be losing all that much evade to do so. This post has been edited by Bunker Buster: May 19 2013, 11:50

i see that pack rat prices were reduced, halved as a matter of fact. i'm glad, but now i feel like an idiot for getting 3 levels yesterday for 420k credits wasting 210k for nothing.
judging on how things went before i know i won't get a refund. at least i didn't lose millions like some did in the past.
but i'm not going to train anything other than pack rat and ability boost until we are out of the beta testing period.

Wise decision. This is more like alpha testing with how many things are wrong, though.

Except that most beta test you are awarded to try out new things

Well, the PMI on my shade breastplate is already forged a good amount. Just dropped these leggings though: http://hentaiverse.org/pages/showequip.php...;key=70c2e67485Not bad, even better than kevlar, imo.

You're currently failing at every aspect of the game. I, by all measures less successful, a lower level, with less experience, am absolutely hamrocking you. Tell me you're not bad at this game when the slightest change stops you dead.

Try to say how cycling 6 spells and making a hotkey to automate the process and still not dying at all since you have mutant high mitigation cloth and protection spells is failing at a game in less than the amount of words in War & Peace. This is something normally done to make the game easier, now it's practically a requirement. People shouldn't NEED to make AHK bindings for this game. Not that you can wrap your head around any of that. Otherwise this is pretty much what you're doing: "And for my next trick, I'm going to claim I have 130 IQ from a mock test I did in middle school!" Stat losses aside, Not having a Regen 2 equivalent is hurting quite a bit as Heavy Armor/2H--the max regen unlocks for my level can't keep up even on Hard difficulty in an exquisite item, and with all item slots nerfed it's not looking like I will be bothering to level items anytime soon.

Just to signal this : Spirit stance keyboard shortcut (E or G) is not working (triggering items shortcut instead)

Very simple, and I'll say it again: You are not being successful. Look at this thread. I am doing fine. Other mages are doing fine. Other people, higher level than you are doing fine. You are the only variable left. The problem is with you, what you've done, your build or your setup. But it's you.

E is the new items shortcut. S is now Spirit.

Hmm...tried HV just now - its still a major pain in the rear to mage (less so now a holy/corruption combo only means you only have to hit something for one turn before being able to recast) but at least now there are abilities to upgrade cure and regen and the cd reductions so my magesword n' board can do its job without dying as easily between cure cd intervals - Regen is still more or less pointless (but whats new) but at least HV is returning somewhat to a playable state for mid to lowbies, I feel..
Although I doubt I'll be ROB'ing any time soon without imperil and such at my command - any chance those pretty useful abilities can be given at a lower level?

Well, first time in my life I can use Estoc with mine Kevlar of Protection build on something higher than hell... Before it was always Mace (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) Thank you Tenboro! Now I just have to wait for "monster damage is x10 again" fix... Also speed bonus for prof and Agi is so nice~

I'm not sure where your problem is other than "stop whining" in which case tough shit because there are a lot of problems with how the game was handled and there isn't any chance of any of that stopping because a lot of things are still not working. I'm doing fine by your "standards". The game is much easier than before at a survivability standpoint. The game is just not fun, nor were any of the changes made to the game conducive to being actually interesting (I've suggested various ways to challenge the player through mobflags such as random magic immunities or Spark/Spirit-breakers and *gasp* creatures that randomly ignore armor which would throw a wrench into the standard Heavy immunity, but the exact opposite has happened in that monster damage was scaled much lower and resistances have been increased across the board). I have posted as much. If any of this doesn't get through to your head (which won't be a surprise) you're pretty much not worth responding to.
