Nope but it should be a lesser chance.
Om melee weapons ethereal is the most wanted and has the highest chance.
It should be the same for Sticks. Like Katalox has a higher chance to drop with hallowed or demonic.

@Dark Force 0: No, it really can't. This is not debatable, but simple math.

At your level, 98, the absolute minimum EDB you get from phase(100 PXP phase, essentially) is 60 EDB, with 90 EDB for supmax. Brief reminder here that Elemental damage multiplies your damage by it's value in % - 90 EDB is 90% increase in damage.

Furthermore, if they each have INT/WIS PAB, 20.58 points of INT/WIS at minimum. 77.6552 INT/WIS at supmax. Meanwhile, a staff with 35 base MDB would provide 150 magic base damage at your level, and some EDB too admittedly - unless it is of <element>, not as much as phase piece generally.

So you're looking at between 70%-130% increase in damage from wearing phase. Let's take the convenient of average of 100% - that's just in the middle of average, bazaar-grade stuff.

In other words, by abandoning the INT/WIS and EDB from phase, you
take more than twice(interference) as long to kill something
spend more than twice(interference) as much mana on offensive spells which are what cost the vast majority of mana.
still spend more mana on healing, since average light armor without prof that you're looking at won't provide you with the PMI/evade over phase over twice of damage(monsters will have more time to stock up on skills) you will be taking.

Granted, that damage will be over prolonged time so you'll be less likely to be overwhelmed.

But at that point you should grab a scythe and start stacking up that bleed. After all, monsters can't be resistant to void weapons, unlike with spells. Oh, and since the offensive spells were the major mana expenditure, you can now go much further and stack more mana on supportive.

@Lement: Now do that math with say supmax old school battlecaster armor (the MDB kind), compared to supmax 4 PAB phase. Add a section on comparative defense at L300, just to rub it in (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/biggrin.gif).

I was just casting an elemental spell because I was almost out of mp, on the last mob, and wanted to empty out my mp before going to sleep. And an elemental spell happened to be the only thing I could really cast at that point, lol.

As I learned a while ago, even one post can really change how much exp you get. I mean, it is really insane how much of a difference it can make.

Is it just me or the drop rate of some items became extremely low?
I haven't got a single drop of Katana and Estoc since the 0.76 update
not even a low quality one.
