I laughed hard when I saw that and the godly watermelon chopping. I hope those aren't the reasons cause they were funny to see and they aren't really against anyone. I'm ready for next patch too, I've exhausted my soul stones already. I can't completely understand why they'll be removed if energy drinks have the same function in battle (though they're a lot more expensive). I guess OverCharge is going to get changed as someone here mentioned. Praying for a good resolution. But you could easily get around that by just mailing stuff to yourself, which as far as I could tell was unlimited. Let's just say I didn't want people to exploit mooglemail in the same way. :3

By the way 10boro, because of that pony icon avatar thing, it's impossible to click on your name to get to your main profile page. You probably knew this already, but yeah.

Mail to someone who hasn't been active in years, with a CoD that's worth more than the item. "Yours if you want it, bro!" A limit on the number of sent-but-unread messages that one can have in the system would easily prevent that. Just make each mail in limbo count against the sender's total inventory slots and add e.g. "Mooglemails: 125" at the bottom of the inventory screen. A low limit could cause problems for very active shops, but it isn't necessary to give everybody an extra 100 slots or so via a high limit independent of inventory.
Currently we have equipment rentals; the next logical step is for OCD hoarder players to pay other players to store equipment for them.

Inventory space in FF 11 is a bit more now, but I remember that, too. Oh, and some people in my Linkshell confirmed the moogle mail limit. 100. The oldest would get dropped off when you mailed in the 101st item/gil/stack. There's also additional storage available now, but that's beside the point. You definitely don't want to start down that road, having the mail service a storage extension. Messy, messy, messy.

lol..... Well, this is interesting. I had to leave for about a month and I see that this thread is still alive. Can we possibly make this thread over 9000 pages long? Or maybe get it to exactly 666? Maybe we should seriously consider an item shop system though if we start limiting mail'ed items? I mean like a player store system in-game that people can shop at.. Instead of the by mail or by bazaar methods we have now (I forget if there was any other ways). I swear, every time I start editing this thing I'm trying to edit, something bad happens within a few hours/minutes/seconds... This post has been edited by MikukoAya: Aug 31 2013, 11:55
