Because this is so you can forge your crappy pieces and then salvage it to forge better pieces.
Not to salvage your god tier piece to forge a slightly more god tier piece (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

That's why it's infinitely better if you can acquire your own equipment. No buyer's remorse when you have to salvage that "god-tier" piece for an 0.1% better upgrade...

Well anyway, I just did an experiment to see how viable it is to bulk upgrade a crude item for the forge exp along and then savaging it.

In hindsight, I should of WTB first before using those bindings. I lost a protection and warding bindings, 3 fleets, 2 Resists, 1 Dampening, 2 Deflections and 4 Thunder-children. I also failed to log how much leather I had beforehand.

You are correct and I believe it was Dan31 (if I recall the username correctly) who sent it to me to use and it might've taken you a while because I haven't been around or at least posting for quite a while.

No. Salvaging an item that gave you x forge exp will give you back 0.8-0.9x forge exp along with the equivalent in materials and bindings.

How do you know this? Is there a table of new HV players somewhere? If true, I think it is newbie unfriendly. There should be some automated walkthrough helper when someone first starts playing... it can help them mount new weapons and allocate exp and ability points.

A little helper, kinda like that stupid little paper clip in Microsoft Office. I always wanted to take that thing to the Reynolds recycling center to get 5cents.

Anyone with Multi-Page Viewer perks perhaps can guide me through how to use it when you have already activated it through Settings..

I don't see any difference after I activate it and set it to yes.. it's the same old window..

MPV replaces the one-page-at-a-time viewer with an endless-scroll viewer when you actually go to read the doujin; it doesn't change anything on the index pages.
