DYasha: I read it as gc was inferring that single-elemental mage should need more mastery points than multi-elemental one. Which isn't bad idea per se, but hard to implement.

...Why would you ever melee with a staff to build OC for skills to begin with?

Waste of time. Make a useful Lv.10 potency instead of new staff skills that will only collect e-dust.

Yeah, that's my point, more master point requirement is designed not flaws or sth else.
Nothing should be changed unless Holy/dark become stronge again.

However, How can mages get OC bar filled is the problem we should deal with first.
Wielding staff not casting spell is not an interesting idea. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

How about casting spell can increase OC bar just like worriors?

Yeah, to slove the problem will generate more problem, like make the game too hard for newbie.

One must struggle to reach certain level to get enough AP or MP to play as a mage.
