I don't mind the current descriptions too much, and I know 0.77 is going to address them, but hell if I would know if [spell_crtdmg] meant an addition to the 50% base crit damage bonus, an addition after the bonus has been applied, or a bonus percentage of the base crit damage bonus, without looking it up.
