Also, cure seems severely nerfed in potency too. Used to cure ~4000 for me, now it only cures about ~1000.

I'm glad SOMEbody actually agrees with me.

I never made it a point to say this before but anytime I play an RPG I generally max out when I do. So when I get to max or really high level, I could start steamrolling the game back the same way that it probably mostly flattened me in parts of the game. Then you can consider the game "complete" and replay differently or move on to the sequel. I trust no one wants to see a "Hentaiverse 2" or anything like that unless an unrelated set of people to this HV program it.

Never have I played anything like the HV where even at high levels and excellent equipment, the game keeps getting more annoyingly unbalanced towards mobs favor and not towards the player. It didn't seem that way some years ago but constant frustration updates have pushed it that way. I never side with programmers that prefer difficulty through cheapness.

As for you Mages, I didn't even try since the cost for maxing out abilities now is way too high as I stated before and 2H was pretty much what I always played the most, but I understand the backlash. I was a Mage for a while after Mace was Nerfed, and still used it to raise proficiencies when I level up...and yes it certainly has gotten harder for you folks too. I guess the only recourse you have since it's now harder than ever to completely switch a character around without having a ton of credits for equipment and start grinding profs, is to not play or play a different game and then just tell everybody what happened to this game as an example of how things can go sour.

I give a pass to anyone who wants to whine at this update because unlike previous Nerfdates, this one effectively changes the whole feel of the game progression without giving back nearly enough to the players that have spent a lot of time molding a character and/or enjoying every style/aspect of the game (if any of it still was enjoyable, that is)

Is it possible to have the spike effect last the same amount of turns as Protection itself? I like the effect, but considering the rarity of mastery points I was hoping it would last longer.

9.3k to 7.2k hp, enemies chipping away at my health while seemingly having the same amount of health from pre-patch, cure having a cooldown of 5 rounds, and only restoring a dinky fraction compared to the ~50% it was formerly capable of. And as the icing on the cake, the mana cost is the same as before (51) while my max mana's been lopped down from ~830 to 473.

Did they do something to the Gem droprates, or am I just unlucky as hell? On average, I'd get one about every six rounds or 4 in later rounds with more monsters, but now I get one every...

By now I believe the most significant remaining complaint is about offensive spell cooldowns? Some future abilities may reduce these slightly, but I'm sure mages will be able to adapt to not being able to spam cast their most powerful and fully juiced up spell over and over again.

Maybe I'm just a low level scrub [nah, I AM a low level scrub] who doesn't know anything, but I want to ask:

- What was the rationale for retiring the average and superior potion tiers?

- Why were battle item slots cut so drastically?

- Did something occur with the gem droprates?

- What happened with grindfest droprates?
