QUOTE(dragon695 @ Jun 12 2013, 00:49) The shrine still gives hath at all? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/dry.gif) Meanwhile, enjoy all those Elixers (and now Happy Pills?) that drop now. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) From around 10 artifacts I've shrined since last patch, I've got hath, crystals and stats points only. I still think you're joking about the elixir and happy pills from artifacts (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) Random drops are still random. Edit: I mean it's just your luck, I'm sure Snowflake still has lots of hath in his vaults. My guess, you're being trolled by the Goddess of Loot and Harvest. QUOTE(Cashino @ Jun 11 2013, 23:57) Does the Shrine give 3 Hath anymore? Because I started getting suspicious and sifted through the Shrine offering thread and saw that no one has gotten 3 Hath since 0.76 was released.
No, that's 2 hath if you receive any now. @buktore: Effort spent can be translated as, for example, number of clicks/button press, number of skills used, number of times you have to switch actions, how many things have to be tracked (cooldowns, supportive abilities), how important is the choice of target, etc. and how much it translates to real time. While there are some cases where you can't put a number behind, and it can be sometimes hard to translate the data to meaningful indicators, you can get an idea, an estimation, an overview. And by the way, what you hate isn't maths, it's numbers, numbers that appears where they shouldn't (according to you).

QUOTE(MSimm1 @ Jun 11 2013, 16:32) What Happy Pills? I haven't seen a single happy pill in three or four days now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) Same for me. They suddenly stopped dropping.

I got one yesterday in an hourly, but it was a long dry spell before that. And I'd rather they not drop from artifacts if Elixers are also still dropping from the shrine. Really, it is very demoralizing.

Monsters give the credits now in arena, grindfest and anywhere as drops. Just take a look to the patch addendum in first page... Oh, and they have a colour. QUOTE - Credit drops from monsters are no longer a fixed amount per monster - instead, each monster rolls on and drops credits individually. Average credit drops over time are slightly higher than before. -- Monsters now also drop credits in the Grindfest and Item World modes, but at 1/4th the amounts they do in arenas. -- Monsters in random encounters now drop twice as much credits as in arenas. I felt the same way you did at first and was rather skeptical. However, I have begun to evaluate my gains post-0.7.6i and the amount of credits if you do the whole arena is much improved. Also, it is nice that you can get some credits from IW now. This post has been edited by dragon695: Jun 12 2013, 04:45

I am not a mathematician, I'm a mathemagician, with an economics degree!
And I made that last post about all those person factors cause I was in a bad mood. Realistically the model would try to capture actions per second and actions per round to be able to at least show between different styles how long a round should take on average (based on ping) and factor in delays based on player input requirements [annoyance/effort]. Strangely it is quite similar to my day job...
Back when Shatter Strike was spamable I made myself a model that was extremely accurate on actions/round based on difficulty and OC requirements as well as damage output and proc, which allowed me to find the damage sweetspot to be able to shatter at the start of 90% of rounds. And my other models that focused solely on 2H styles, and another one that focused on mage cycles (pre-patch) were pretty accurate as well. So I just need to do it again but let it encompass mage, melee, and time.

Yeah, the econ degree was my fun degree. The other one was for practicality (I wanted a job) This post has been edited by skillchip: Jun 12 2013, 06:46
