QUOTE(Lement @ Jun 3 2013, 03:51) EDs were nerfed because everyone who didn't do arenas on normal used them to gain more credits. This was untenable when ED price was 18k, but it dropped when cf and gf were merged, since using them for bonus damage in cf became, once again, untenable.
Without enough EDs, I am afraid of some people making muti-accounts for more stamina. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This post has been edited by gc00018: Jun 3 2013, 07:49

(Un)fortunately, the level in this case we're talking about isn't 300 but not much above 100 for minimum power in grinding.
Edit: Fortunately, the expensive hath perks and trainings are quite a dissuading factor given how many times more expensive than EDs they are.

Right, because >50% of HV players have either or both of those.

Just walked by and decided to add my own 2 cents on gameplay changes- mostly facts. 1. I am (and was) using dualwielding, light armor, spells. I cant play all day everyday, so I play what I can - a casual player. Previous patch had me more or less regularly playing on cl 'Nintendo'- mostly because it worked for me. Then real life hit, and I started relaxing on 'Normal'. Both way, both melee and magic was readily usable for me. I used melee mostly on singular toughs, and magic to clear groups of monsters. It WAS moderately effective. 2. Latest patch made using ANY cl's other then 'Normal' unusable for me, AND changed the way melee and magic works... Namely, melee became A LITTLE more useful, while AoE spells... now they remind me of low level maging in DnD - effects from them are akin to pelting monsters with water balloons... flinging a lot of attacks now doing LESS than doing two or (rarely) three 'one step back' at the same cl. AND my lowered stats made me ve-e-ery wary. So, I mostly returned to lurking nowadays... It does NOT mean 'everything is bad', nor do I see any reason to ask for any particular tweaks, but I definitely will wait for the dust to settle - and probably for the next patch. 3. The end result of 'ground-shaking' changes for me is simple: if 'before' I played HV as much as I could, now I rarely bother.

QUOTE(J99814 @ Jun 2 2013, 21:49) My only complaint is that sometimes I feel I gain levels too quickly.
By the time you're Henjutsu level 300, you'd wish you level up faster. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif)

QUOTE(ChosenUno @ Jun 3 2013, 09:42) Tenboro, I think you should have a look at EDs.
I don't think you should have to have maxed out drop training and still struggle with supplementing enough EDs from your own play, right?
agree. EDs ' consumption is crazy ,but EDs can hardly be found in ardfacts.

QUOTE(ChosenUno @ Jun 3 2013, 07:33) Great news, guys. With this new damage formula, stacking EDB is king! Everything else is so subpar it doesn't matter (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) To which you are referring (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif) ? Can someone on IRC get a definitive answer on this?

I have 50/50 in Scavenger & 9/10 in Archaeologist and I find EDs drop rarely from Artifacts. Pre-patch I could get like 5-10 EDs / day, but now I'm happy if I even get 1. Having EDs share the same table as Elixirs is god awful (if true), as I always feel I'm getting trolled when getting Elixirs. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) I suspect prices will rise on EDs when people start figuring out they're running out on EDs to keep them going.

Not sure if the display is bugged, but my spirit shield does not trigger at the stated percentages of damages. A lvl 3 stronger spirit shield states that [e]=>[special]=>[spiritshield]=>[25] [t]=>27 I would assume that it should trigger at 25% of my hp, while having 27 base turns. However, it does not trigger at 25%. This is confusing. Can attach screen if required.

Spirit Shield should trigger if a single attack damages you for more than 25% of your max HP in this case. Could you paste here the relevant battle log bits if it isn't the case?

The thing is, I've always assumed that the shrine had a uniform probability distribution for artifacts. As elixers replaced AP, it shouldn't be that much different. However, out of all the artifacts I've yet to see a single hath or ED. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif)

Got 2 EDs from 41 artifacts, which means a 5% chance. At this rate EDs will cost 2 haths or more (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/laugh.gif) Are you sure the rates are correct Tenboro? Also, just wanna note. Elixir drop is useless. Please remove it from artifact table. I never use elixirs before and I probably never will. And I'm sure most players will agree with me on this one.
