QUOTE(varst @ Jun 1 2013, 01:05) Have you seen a 'reset button' in anyone's real-life? (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) Oh, yeah, plenty. Lessee. - (You can't fire me!) I QUIT THIS SHIT! <-- this works pretty well - Witness Protection <-- well, if you trust the Feds, this is an awesome reset - Parenthood <-- global reset for many, many people. - (Partial/Retrograde) Amnesia <-- sucky reset - "Born again" <-- for Christians, apparently this is a BIG reset - Adult education <-- old dog, new tricks - Moving to a new town/state/country <-- fairly significant reset And if you're a reincarnation-ist, well, death is the master reset button. Kinda stupid that you can't carry over any EXP, but whatever. Can't reset your age, but just about anything else. Hell, you can even reset your legal sex.

QUOTE(Lement @ May 31 2013, 11:01) Well, ideally you wouldn't need any resets if you were smart, did some math and used the well-filled wiki.
Ideally we would've never had the stock market screwups of 2008 if people were smart, did some math, and were rational, right?

cavecricket: Exactly. QUOTE(Dan31 @ May 31 2013, 19:01) Real life doesn't have many patches introducing a totally new system you have to fiddle with. It's been the same since forever, literally. Well... I don't really care if there's a reset or not, I have enough mastery points anyway. But... I did overlook the fact that the abilities can be tied to each equip set separately so I kinda got a lot more red slots than I needed. Really with a brand new system like this a reset would be nice.

There is several ways to consider HV too, the core is still there (kill bitches, get shit). The ability system we have now can be compared to the education system or political system. To compare it to physics is just a huge stretch...

If you're lazy, then GTFO, this game is not for you (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif)

QUOTE(Lement @ May 30 2013, 15:21) Example of a bugfix that made players weaker: Pots restocking in the middle of a battle series.
How does this "bugfix" even make sense? Why NOT allow pots to restock in the middle of a battle series? You are still limited during a particular round, but between rounds makes sense.

The "feed one" and the "feed max" buttons in the monster lab seem to both do the same thing for me. As in both restore 2000 points of hunger. Is this a bug? Shouldn't it fill the bar up at max feed? Or does it just not restore the remainder of the food if it's only a fraction left?
I guess I can find out if I let my monsters get starved for more than 4000 hunger though...

It doesn't allow any food waste

Feed max doesn't seem to fill it to full if the fraction left is less than 2000. I think its because it's so you don't overfeed. Like using food for only 1 hunger or something.

Joe, I know you have a hard-on for this game, but still I don't see the reason for it other than to punish you if you don't spend your jew gold to buy more item slot "trainings" (wtf is with training for eq features). Also, scrolls restock. Pretty arbitrary, there Joe Friday. So yeah, why not? Or at the very least why not let us restock from any pots in loot drops?

You popped a potion to save yourself from death. You win the round. You picked up a potion from your fallen enemy's corpse. For some odd reason, even though you had it in your hands a few seconds ago, you enter a new round.................. And though you had a spare item slot, said potion is nowhere to be seen. That's not a bullshit snafu right there. At all.
