QUOTE(ahenayau @ May 21 2013, 04:10) Sugar Winter casts chilly sorbet, and crits you for 4139.22 void damage. okay , now mobs have void damage (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/huh.gif) It seemed like it was inevitable to me. Only having the players use void damage seemed kinda unbalanced.

QUOTE(Demosthenes @ May 21 2013, 17:07) melee is retarded easy.
Now you understand why people get annoyed at your comment about "mage spells being OP" lol. Melee is braindead easymodo compared to maging.

I'm non-plussed by this as it forces speciaization upon the 'all-round' fighter and the curve is too steep for the beginners to get around, this irks me somewhat as I remember just how hard the game is at the lower levels, so I pity those starting out in the game more now. The constant feeding of monsters is a credit burden without adequate compensation as the credit 'squeeze' is further exacerbated by the loss of valuable avenues of acquisition. It has also rendered the 'mage' option somewhat moot as well. I guess the game just got to be called hard work and not fun anymore, when we lose sight of the fun what are we truly left with after all*?
*To those who say 'quit whining' I rarely do, but this update has left me with no real options but to raise my voice in concern. I will not remain silent if the 'fun' aspect is diminished or the beginners are 'left behind' that the starting gates.

I really like the new RoB. It is the only place where have to watch your ass. Also it drops good. Too bad Blood Tokens are so rare now (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cry.gif) This post has been edited by Ichy: May 21 2013, 11:37

Ugh... I wish tenboro would just take the cooldown off of offensive spells for mages. I know where this road is going, if mages stay the same the next thing to be nerfed is melee in the next patch, then the game will be slow and tedious for all of us...

and someday we will see something like: "0.92 patch patchnote: credits was retired. HV was retired. "

Only a few more pages to break the record on release whine. One week to beat the 3 months of last patch!

Cooldown on t1 is already gone. Too bad they have very low damage and only hit a few mobs. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/mad.gif)

Hmmmm... Hell seems pretty good for me on the arena, but just tried an hourly random encounter on hell. Died in two turns. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/sad.gif) This post has been edited by Demosthenes: May 21 2013, 11:56

He'll probably never remove cooldowns. If he did, that would be admitting that it was a bad idea. Like with Ether Tap from last patch, all but one mage was complaining to him that it sucked big time. And what's funny is the one guy who wanted the new ET is the strongest mage in HV (because he doesn't need to ET in schoolgirl arenas). Big LOL at buffing the one mage who didn't need it. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/rolleyes.gif) I say he'll probably add cooldowns to melee attacks next. Cuz , you know... swinging that weapon and not getting tired is unrealistic, right? Or maybe he'll add a Tiredness meter or something and you have to rest/defend every few turns to remove Tired status. Oh boy, can't wait for this to somehow get implemented. Then mage and melee can all quit equally.

QUOTE(cavecricket48 @ May 20 2013, 23:16) If he's level 348, this would imply his limit right now would be 35, or, rounded down, 34. I fail to see why you'd be so mocking.
Anyways. This is from my perspective as a low-level player on the big things:
1. You do less damage, but so does everybody else.
I used to oneshot monsters without Spirit every round [I'm a two-handed melee that uses light armor] but now this happens once every... 10 rounds or so. However, monster mobs are now incapable of ever taking half my HP in one round in any circumstance.
2. For those- including myself- who trained levels in Pack Rat BEFORE this patch and certain other trainings, money was lost, and in some cases lots of it.
Nothing more needs to be said, except it probably hit the lower-leveled people much harder than people above level 200.
3. Haste- initially at least, I need to level up to see the enhancements- got kicked in the dick.
With no improvements- I can't improve it, I'm not high enough in level- Haste has half its previous duration and effect. Apparently, though, it'll give back its 50% bonus with enough AP invested... However, it appears the duration will remain 12 turns.
4. Aura benefits were moved into other areas, although we're missing at least half of the aggregate benefits that they used to give.
I don't have as many stats, making me less durable, and I don't have as much crit chance, which means I do less damage overall. (feeds back into my first point) Apparently, there were some things meant to be substitutes for this, but I forget what they were called.
5. Unless I'm mistaken, it appears that monster food is dropping so much that it's crowding out the appearance of other items.
I've gotten no Tokens of Blood, and one Chaos Token since the update. I'm not sure if this is intended, a programming glitch, or absurdedly bad luck. [I've played about 700-800 rounds since the patch.)
6. If you're low level, you got the shaft, mastery-wise.
I have 40 AP that I could spend, but I won't because I would never use the benefits given; furthermore, I don't actually have any available slots to put those skills in. The next thing that's worth slotting is upgraded Haste, and that's at level 90. Coincidentally, that's when my next mastery slot will be available to open up, but is it really going to take another 19 levels for me to get something worthwhile?
We've previously discussed why the idea of a refund is insane. Go play more arenas. 700-800 rounds is peanuts compared to the drop rate of tokens. Assuming you have tokenizer III and training way higher than your current level would make sense you have a 35% chance to grab 1 or more tokens after 800 rounds. Not exactly swinging it in your favor.

Credit drop rate is very low. Atleast make it how it was before Tenboro
All these trainings (old /new) and stuffs to buy but so little earning for us normal players. Catgirls are safe as always
Just look at WTB/WTS section. HV economy is messed
