Shrined a Precursor Artifact and it raised my WIS from +20 to +21 instead of my INT from +19 to +20.

Posted in the bug thread so that somebody with the authority can manually -1 my WIS bonus and +1 my INT bonus (both should be +20)

Anyways. This is from my perspective as a low-level player on the big things:

1. You do less damage, but so does everybody else.

I used to oneshot monsters without Spirit every round [I'm a two-handed melee that uses light armor] but now this happens once every... 10 rounds or so. However, monster mobs are now incapable of ever taking half my HP in one round in any circumstance.

2. For those- including myself- who trained levels in Pack Rat BEFORE this patch and certain other trainings, money was lost, and in some cases lots of it.

Nothing more needs to be said, except it probably hit the lower-leveled people much harder than people above level 200.

3. Haste- initially at least, I need to level up to see the enhancements- got kicked in the dick.

With no improvements- I can't improve it, I'm not high enough in level- Haste has half its previous duration and effect. Apparently, though, it'll give back its 50% bonus with enough AP invested... However, it appears the duration will remain 12 turns.

4. Aura benefits were moved into other areas, although we're missing at least half of the aggregate benefits that they used to give.

I don't have as many stats, making me less durable, and I don't have as much crit chance, which means I do less damage overall. (feeds back into my first point) Apparently, there were some things meant to be substitutes for this, but I forget what they were called.

5. Unless I'm mistaken, it appears that monster food is dropping so much that it's crowding out the appearance of other items.

I've gotten no Tokens of Blood, and one Chaos Token since the update. I'm not sure if this is intended, a programming glitch, or absurdedly bad luck. [I've played about 700-800 rounds since the patch.)

6. If you're low level, you got the shaft, mastery-wise.

I have 40 AP that I could spend, but I won't because I would never use the benefits given; furthermore, I don't actually have any available slots to put those skills in. The next thing that's worth slotting is upgraded Haste, and that's at level 90. Coincidentally, that's when my next mastery slot will be available to open up, but is it really going to take another 19 levels for me to get something worthwhile?

I'm level 71. I can only invest 1 AP. Now that you say this, yes, they probably will benefit me more. Give me a hundred levels to get there so I can experience what I experienced four days ago in potion quality and a hundred more to achieve what you're currently achieving.

I apologize for the above few lines that were absolutely dripping in sarcasm, but there's no other way to put it; you're forgetting the level gap and lack of availability of upgrades on my end.

Why the fuck would you add hunger and morale meters to monsters? I might as well kill them all now because I'm really not interested in wasting THAT much time in the hentai universe just to keep them full because I have a life you know.

I already wasted my entire morning getting them back to green but now I just want to shoot myself because I could have spent that time doing something much useful. Thanks a lot Tenboro =P

I just deleted my bottom 10 or so, I knew I couldn't keep their hunger up. ANd eventualy I know my last 7 or 8 aren't going to be sustainable in a few days anyway; and once I run low on crystals I'm going to just delete them all. I don't have the time to farm that much.

Considering quiting hverse forever, building up a stockpile of credits for dl'ing hentai and then asking a certain question that I hope is answered by tenb with "yes"

Don't compare your character now with pre-patch, compare you vs monsters now vs pre-patch. Now low levels have less points to allocate and receive upgrades more gradually; just focus on the ones you need and give the biggest benefit. For example, if you level quickly and have low proficiency, then investing into proficiency abilities like crushing mitigation don't actually do anything.

I've already done so in my first post on this page. Everyone got weakened, sometimes severely.

This new ability tier system completely destroys the feeling that "If I level, I'll get one tiny little thing that I can use to enhance myself." I understand it retains the "Every ten levels I'll get something great" feeling. But you don't even get it; I literally have nothing to invest in until level 90. This is an 18 level drought. With the decrease in credit gains, and the comparative lack of arenas between me and you, this is going to be a long 18 levels.

I appreciate your somewhat misguided attempts to give advice. But I don't think you really understand how bad it is at lower levels. Due to your level, you were able to retain mostly the same feel of play that you had before the patch, and in the case of potions even benefit from it. Due to my level, I was crippled, and in the process of recovering because of my level. This is something you fundamentally cannot understand. Please stop.
