Like a heroine addict coming back for his daily fix, I couldn't stay away for too long.



Just marathoned the arenas and beat First Blood-Trio And The Tree on normal. Haven't died once yet, and im gonna finish up with End Of Days, Eternal Darkness and Dance With Dragons, but out of all those battles, ive scored 2 blood tokens and 1 generic artifact. Right now my main objective is to collect 10 blood tokens to take a shot at the new Triple Trio And The Tree.


Thank god for the mulligan on resetting ability points. First day I gave away my AP's to just about every slot and theyre was a lot of stuff that I didn't really use to begin with and magic isn't so hot right now, even though I have been a melee'er for years now so I tried to max out HP/MP/SP and healing and support magic along with the heavy armor buffs. The change in stamina and how energy drinks work sucks ass, but the update did increase exp gains.


I haven't seen any bugs yet, so I can't complain about that, but the new layout is just so overwhelming. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/blink.gif)


Started out with like 500 credits and after all that shit Im just over 36,000. Gonna take forever to train for anything.

Yeah, I'm starting to wish I busted my ass to finish my trainings earlier. I'm not so worried about WTB/WTS because everybody got credit nerfed, but the trainings are still going to be expensive as fuck. Well, at least all the drop training's price got lowered for me cause Tenboro changed the price curve on them. I'm high enough on all of them where the last few levels are less expensive now.

Also, 4 more blood tokens until new RoB!!! Fuck it, I'm going straight to IWBTH on it (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif) .

I just realized that the new WS version of HV isn't going to be good for smartphones. I tried it on mine, and it was too big for the screen. Too much scrolling around for a mere round of battle.

And yes, I HAVE played HV occasionally on my smartphone, mostly hourlies or to start a new training whenever I was at work.

I will just add to that if you were like me and spent the majority of you AP on spells many of the spells I spent credits and time to unlock are now blocked to me because of my level even though I have excess of AP. As an elemental mage with melee abilities I am reduced to standing around and whacking things with my sword because I lost all of my higher level spells, low level spells don't do jack and cost a ridiculous amount of MP. As an example in .75 I had access to inferno and meteor blast, but now I am stuck with only firery blast and it is similar for the other elementals and dark spells I had maxed. So not only was I screwed by losing battle item slots and having to play tamgochi with my monster but I lost almost all of magic ability and my melee abilities have been nerfed to boot, the only thing that lets me survive is my heavy armor. And just to add insult to injury there is no way for me to reset my mastery points to balance out my abilities to best suit my character. Also widescreen is annoying, even on my widescreen monitor.

lost all inventory/scroll spots, potions nerfed, credits nerfed, etoc semi nerfed,
IWBTH random encounters = instant loss, spells have a cooldown,
can't even use certain spells if you melee.... etc.

Actually even pre-patch it was faster for me real time wise to put holy and dark infusions on each weapon and just turn on spirit stance and hack away. Setting up frenzied was less turns but more tedious and ultimately consumed more real time for me.

Anyway, I agree, the last thing DW needed was a nerf, lol. I would like to see the OC damage back again also. It has made gameplay for melee have much less variety as I almost never use skills now. Great cleave is shit now that it can be parried, lol.

I'm really getting tired of trying to read through this
whole thread mostly because of a relatively small set
of users, maybe a handful of you-know-who-you-are,
who insist on sharing their diarrhea in the form of
ONE HUNDRED BILLION
replies, maybe one sentence in length each, all of
which have nothing to do with the thread topic, AT ALL!
Now I know I've been guilty of this myself but hey,
some here take it to unbearable extremes, rendering
this thread into mostly shit, destined for the shithouse.


By now I've read every post up till #1356 and among the
gems I've found are Tenboro's replies which are gems by
default, Mamixum Joe's breaking news about temporary
free ability resets which helped me A LOT, Skillchip's
graphics which helped me understand what the fuck is
going on, everyone's complaints about the total turdification
of maging, which helped me steer away from that build,
and everyone's whining about wasted mastery points,
which helped me not waste such points unneccesarily.
Many more things can be added but at this moment I'm
too lazy to remember what else deserves to be mentioned.
