T can you look into allowing more space for the buff/debuff icons on monsters? With the Ripen Soul+Soul Fire+Coalesced+Holy/Dark Proc I couldn't see half the buffs on FSM it seemed.

edit: for more info I seemed to have capped at 5 or 6 icons (can't remember how many). It was 4 or 5 beside the monster name and then 1 more icon below the monster name and that was it.

I could post preliminary patch notes, but taking feedback on that? People would generally respond in a "under no circumstances should the particular style I play be made weaker, and preferably it should be made stronger". The reason I do it the way I do is that I don't just get the feedback from people, but I also get all the numbers. What kind of battle you played, how it ended up, what you gained from it, what difficulty you used, which equipment you used. Which means I can see if it's just whinging or genuine issues.

This patch is very unusual in that it ripped out two central systems and replaced them with one unified system - and major changes like that will always cause ripples.

And I'm curious- did you and nobody in IRC ever have misgivings about essentially performing Ragnarok on the entire system?

If I hadn't just upgraded Hartman I could have created a monster with better primary attributes then Eila with just the crystals I had lying around. What I don't understand is why nobody is complaining about this? Have people not realised that their monsters are now completely worthless?

It's not that difficult to feed the monsters, I think you can even buy food from other players. And since you are in the Gold Star Club, their Morale drains half as fast. And I'm guessing your monsters have a healthy Chaos Level which will further reduce the morale drain speed. Yes, I think you have quite a bit more monsters than me so I guess you'll have to sacrifice some, though I'm not sure.

Eila is worthless? well, considering that you werent the only one whose Monsters were nerfed they all are equal in a way.

That's not how it works. A company like that has programmers who do the programming, and community guys who do the community stuff and feedback soliciting and sorting out the good suggestions from the self-serving crap. They also have internal QA who offload the work of arranging playtesting from the programmers. While there are people here who do a good job of filtering out suggestions and making a good argument for why something was a bad idea, I still need to do stuff in the way that makes best use of my time. Otherwise I'd just have to give up the entire thing.

If you hand out the patch a day before to some of us we could have found most critical problems and lower drama to a minimum.

Lots of positive improvements, different is not worse...
But there are a pair of harsh nerfs to mages (cooldown and fewer enemies hit). The cooldown is REALLY bad.

Some specific things that bothered me:
Rather then deleting all Crystal of Quintessence, can they please be rerolled into some other type of crystal? Or converted equally into all the different resistance crystals? (its 1c to sell them and 10 to buy)

Shame we didn't get back 1 artifact per 1 extra AP, instead they just poofed away.

Rather then just deleting retired potions for us at a later date, how about auto selling them for credits when they are removed from game?

Abuse is a crime. Hiring someone at 2 yen a day, however, is not.

Yes, Riot is far larger than you as a person will ever be, but I'm saying the way that you released information for this patch- the method- which appears to be post small tidbits in the forums and make it open season in the IRC, was seriously inadequate for something as big as this. I didn't even know this place had an IRC before you said that you pretty much discussed all this stuff on the IRC, and even then I had to go from the front page to the wiki to look it up.

Okay, fine. You're the boss. But the method of conveying information about a patch as devastating as this was seriously lacking.

I can't decide weather to delete most of my monsters now. or just let them starve to death. If I knew then, what I know & the way I feel about the way Tenboro has changed the HV game. I wouldn't have sent one thin cent as a contribution. The only reason I'm still here, is because I have a vested interest in the place.

This cool down on attack spells is just plain bull shit and damned unfair to mages. Why don't you put a cool down on Melee attacks. This update is so lopsided it's pathetic.
