QUOTE(lightshader @ May 19 2013, 12:42) I had regen running as well. Didn't help, considering as mage I'm naturally wearing cloth armor only. 435HP is a drop in bucket compared to damage IWBTH deals out. Not to mention that it looks like it (and the cool down) are still procing at same "full turn tick" thing that was implemented a patch or two ago.
10 34 Regen restores 435 points of health. 10 32 Regen restores 435 points of health. 9 24 Regen restores 435 points of health. 7 18 Regen restores 435 points of health. 4 23 Regen restores 435 points of health. 3 31 Regen restores 435 points of health. 1 27 Regen restores 435 points of health.
Would it be an exaggeration to say you dick got kicked in [I can imagine you taking about............... 7000 per round?] This post has been edited by cavecricket48: May 19 2013, 18:45

So, really, the only complaints I've seen in this thread that I agree with so far is that healing spells are weak and cooldowns break Maging.
For the latter, maybe make some weaker, 1 target only cantrip versions of the elemental spells that have no cooldown so mages don't have to use physical attacks?
For the former, I'm not sure how Tenboro would change the calculation for curative spells to make it not go too far in the player's favor, but it might be something to look into.

QUOTE(radixius @ May 20 2013, 00:15) You act like I don't remember this stuff.
For my money, proficiency doesn't really matter much until later levels, thus I don't worry about it. I just stuck to a single weapon and armor style and am now just starting my offensive magic prof. Domino Strike is working out fine enough at the moment, but using Niten I need to get 2H a bit above the piddleshit 50 it is right now. But this is all anecdotal.
You can think a little bit more before being an asshole. Before this patch, you can level up 1st and get all those prof later, but bare in mind, the prof now affect what spell you learn + thats is a cool down which make you 10 times harder to grind spell prof + EXP nerf. The whole thing is fall in to a loop which make HV really difficult for newbie now, I can't see how hard is it to understand this.

HAHAHA! Oh god my sides. Just thinking about how badly I would've been facerolled and then raged makes me laugh. Thank god I didn't do it. Thought something was weird when FSM had schoolgirls too. Looks extremely difficult for a DW with no damage like me.

Scorpio, on what difficulty you played ? Does monsters hit hard ? Actually I'm playing on IWBTH with only Protection, Regen and Heartseeker and normal arenas are like walking in the park (I someone told me week ago, that I will survive Eila's ultimate attack, I would laugh hard)

Well, I think the healing spells are fine now, now that we got "Better Cure" ability.

They're alright, definitely usable as they are, but Cure could still stand to be a bit more powerful to compensate for the cooldown.

If it's an actual screenshot then it's not his. See the level gap?

Apparently, for mages, even a two-turn cooldown at I Want To Be the Hentai arenas is anathema, but since I'm not there and not a mage I can only use what others say.

This screenshot isn't mine, I've took it from [ tieba.baidu.com] here. But this info was confirmed already. I haven't tried a new TT&T RoB yet - not enough Blood Tokens.

OK Cure is only 2 turn now. That is manageable, maybe down to 1, please. But Tier 1 spells 3 turns is too much. That definitively needs some polishing (removal). These spells are too weak to warrant any kind of cooldown.
I'm first to admit that 0.76 getting ... arduously and very slowly better with each fix. Plenty room for improvement tho.
Still yet, credits are major issue. 10 mobs IWBTH hourly return less than 150 credits instead of 300+. Just lame. Simply put I could live with some obstructions but with previous credit gain. Right now there is no bloody difference between Normal and IWBTH. [OK in act of technical fairness there is like 0.025% change between levels]

QUOTE(dragon695 @ May 19 2013, 17:58) The problem is you want to be super-sekritive about the changes when there is no justification to do so. Aside from, at most, a minority taking advantage of the pending changes to do last-minute grinds/trainings/mods/stocking-up, what is there to loose by being open? If you would publish your list of changes a week in advance and solicit for a decent sample of players to test them for you and general feedback from the community, then you could have fixed many of these issues before the slammed us in the ass, unlubed. Cute. Most of the changes were, in fact, pre-announced in some form or another. Tell me, did you ever manage any kind of online thing where you directly solicited feedback from the userbase? Because I'll tell you how it works. 99% of those who actually read the patch notes will briefly skim them, then hone in on everything that they perceive will affect them negatively in any way, disregard everything else, then throw up a massive whinefest about those particular changes. The rest hang out on the IRC channel, where I've been discussing the changes in depth in the weeks prior to the patch.

Nope. I don't give a damn about most numbers in this game. That's why I can play happily without that whole butthurt that some players showing off. (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/cool.gif) Ps. You guys want to see real rage, then play one of Warhammers and wait until next rules edition (IMG:[ invalid] style_emoticons/default/wink.gif)
