What color drops are they?

Normal Green Potions kind. It is easy to miss if by any chance you get whole two drops every 20 rounds. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)

Cooldowns on offensive spells are little trimmed, but it can still be better (still possible to face mobs resistant to anything without Dark/Holy, but at least 7 turn is gone). Definetevly Absorb is pain in the backside. 20 turns. (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/ohmy.gif) Maging without Scrolls of Absorption is bad idea, certainly at higher levels. Absorb is even triggered on Normal at regular intervals. On Hell it happens like every 10 rounds, and IWBTH is just constant.

Amount of clicking is simply atrocious. Mage is not melee, by definition it should deal with mobs at distance not in hand-2-hand combat. In current shape I find HV unplayable for anything more than hourlies and occasional GF spin/tests. With limited time HV is not a viable option to play with one arena per hour or two (putting lousy rewards aside). I expect all my mobs to be empty by end of next week. There is simply no way of keeping then alive with time constraints I have (and certainly not only me). Old system was just fine. It allowed decent progress with decent amount of time and effort invested. With new setup time and effort required to achieve same return as before grew astronomically, shoot into the sky, jumped into trans-warp conduit, turned left near Galactic Core and... The duration on silence should be extended a little. Even at max silence it's become worthless for schoolgirls.

He's barely skimmed through any posts in this thread, period. There are many issues besides cooldowns to spells, but it seems that was the only one he really got.

You got two extra green and red slots earlier.

This isn't going to be read by many people, that's not possible. The vast majority of people here are far higher leveled than I am, and will just laugh it off. But I feel like somebody needs to speak on the low-leveled scrub front about why the new ability tree feels... crippling.

- The previous system allowed you to do something every level.

- Every ten levels, you got this nice little bonus in the form of an Aura point and a new tier of skills.

- This system is like "Fuck you, get to level 90/175/230/etc. first."

- Aura benefits weren't redistributed elsewhere. I think this is pretty big personally, I dunno about anyone else.

- Right now, between my level and... whenever the next big thing is... I literally have nothing to look forward to. There's no real incentive besides that shining light at the end of the road to keep going. It's gonna take a while.

Incidentally, CS lecturers don't know shit either, they go under the "those who can't do, teach" heading. At their level, and the level you are at after studying under them, you may be able to code a mergesort with the help of some notes and a complete pseudocode implementation, but complex projects are a completely different ballpark.

I guess there was always that "gotta reslot the HP/MP/SP tanks when switching equipment sets" thing, but most of it wasn't bugs, it was imbalance.

cooldown on spells that hit one ennemy at a time or heals should not exist i understand that a skill like orbital friendship canon need one since it could make the fighting skills useless but a spell like weaken used by most melee (who don't have good base chance to hit and i'm not talking about the monster chaos upgrades avoidance) and that hit only one target should not have cooldowns unless you want to turn the HV into a mmo.
If you keep the cooldown atleast let us stach heartseeker and arcane focus.

I think the biggest gripe vs widescreen is the *amount* of space it takes up.

I mean Foobar/winamp/minesweeper/solitaire/etc shouldn't *require* so much screen space... right now its not much of a choice, sure we can CNTL+ [+-] but wasn't render/scaling issues the reason for the change in the first place??
