Now that Credits are reduced to lulz there is just no reason to play IWBTH. BT will do for Drop Quality while being twice faster.

You know, there was a reason why IWBTH had a 2.5x EXP advantage over BT at one point...

(in before BT gets reduced to 6x)

ok here are a few things that cause me trouble for the moment as a heavy armor dual weilding user and:

-The regen is not powerfull enough to counter the monster damages even with all the abilities i can afford at my level, as a heavy user i have to rely a lot on that spell if you did that so we use heal potions more often at least it would be nice to add a restock in combat (with a cooldown since you like them so much (IMG:[invalid] style_emoticons/default/tongue.gif)) so having less item slots won't be a problem too.

-I also find problematic the fact that Heartseeker last only half the time for the same mana cost it was already quite expensive with the 150% mana cost but now i only wait for the channeling to use it.

-For the attack speed nerf i could understand the fact that having a lot of metal on the shoulder tend to reduce movement (evade and speed) but there should be abilities that at least diminish the burden or reduce the penalty moving the cap from 90 to 100 burden for attack speed (for exemple) or put the proficiency bonus back it's normal for a trained warrior that used heavy plate for a long time to be more confortable with it.

-It'll be also nice to have the possibility to upgrade the fighting combat skills (abbilities) because now they are quite weak, frenzied blows used to koed all enemies (or almost all) now i'm lucky if it can kill 4 ennemies with the spirit stance activated.

Why would I want more EXP? leveling up does not make you notable stronger.

Glad the top menus don't move around anymore.

The ability revamp sounds like a clusterfuck right now, largely due to resets being expensive or impossible while everyone's still getting a feel for things. (I was hesitant to touch anything before reading this thread, and now I'm positively paralyzed.) It'd be better to just have free resets, at least until the next update.

Monster Tamagotchi... sounds like a chore. Or actually, feeding sounds like a chore, whereas morale sounds impossible with what we currently know.

For morale upkeep, I propose a "monster training" mode where you can fight your own monsters (optionally in groups) to refill their bar every few days. I've always wanted to test out my own monsters, so it kills two birds with one stone.

Count me as a vote against widescreen, just because I sympathize with the folks stuck on 1024x768 who were getting along fine before. Aside from that, the game's actually a bit too tall for a 768p screen. Stuff gets half-cut-off at the bottom, e.g. the Apply Settings button. (This problem predates the update, though.)

Overall, due to the aforementioned paralysis, and Tamagotchi, and busy real-life, I'm probably taking a break from HV too until things settle down.

The No. 1 thing that I want to say is this:

It got worse before it got better, and this did NOT have to happen.

My God, back in the day, my CS lecturers would have hung me out to dry if I handed in code as incomplete and buggy as the patch was on release day. One does not patch to add new content, one patches to FIX BUGS - and not introduce MORE bugs.

Having said that, I'm a whole lot calmer about the patch than before. It still sucks, but instead of sucking vacuum, it only sucks balls now.

I really cannot see why the programmer (that's you, Tenboro) can't have thoroughly tested this patch out on a development server before deploying on the production server. And it's quite obvious that you *didn't*. So don't pretend you did. Or if you did, it wasn't with a varied enough equipment pool.

On the Galleries side, you've done a good job. On the HV side... not so much.

Things I still am most unhappy about:

1. Drop rate nerf is insane.
2. Training costs are even more insane.
2a. Credit drop rates nerf are insanely insane.
3. Shrining 13 pre-patch Artifacts (13!) did not yield a SINGLE hath. WTF? RNG is bugged.
4. Monster avoidance rates are still insanely stratospheric.
5. Widescreen format sucks, personally speaking. Please provide switch.
6. Please provide a once-off, limited to the end of the month, Ability and Mastery point reset switch. Hell, limited to the end of this week would be nice.

Glad things are every so slowly getting slightly better,
